I read numerous reviews on this product before buying and most complaints involved missing bolts. The $400 price tag is extremely high for what you get. Which is why I opted to buy a discounted return for $209, a much more reasonable price.The box installed in 10 minutes, all the bolts were there and I was pleased with the deal I got until I realized that there were no keys. Thats right no keys to lock the box whose soul purpose is to lock and protect your valuables.I emailed the seller and have still not received a response. I guess we'll see. With all of the quality control issues and the gross over pricing, I could never suggest this box to anyone...ever..

This product was installed easily and is of pretty high quality. Everything worked and fit as expected. I was hesitant due to only 2 reviews in which people did not receive the needed hardware but mine came with everything needed. I can now safely carry a long gun with me in a locked location that is out of sight. I also like the 60% instead of the full length since my dog fits perfectly on the passenger side 40% area when he travels with me.

My Tuffy lockbox did not ship with the bolts needed to install it. Had to go to local hardware store and purchase bolts to complete install. Tuffy Customer Service appologized and stayed they would ship them out to me, but I needed to get it down this afternoon.I was also surprised that the interior of the box had no padding or rubberized surface. I will have to add that myself as well.In my 2012 Chevy Silverado, the passenger side bracket was designed to be secured to a rear seat bolt which was not present on my truck. Don’t know if this is a design issue with my truck or the lockbox.

The product didn’t come with necessary bolts for installation. Also, beware of the restocking fee... the amount isn’t disclosed in advance and its excessive.
