I love these boots. This is the second pair of uk style country boots I have owned. The shaft is generous for larger calved gals, and these fit great. They are warm and comfortable. I do not ride horses- but I wear these country boots hiking in the desert and they give perfect protection from low lying scratchy vegetation and critters. They are also perfect for muddy trails!
