I decided to buy these because they seemed of a quality I could actually use, after using them for a Halloween party. They have a great shine, almost like a patton leather. I am comfortable in a size 11 and they feel fine on the feet. The issue is the very tight uppers at the calf. Getting this on and off is a complete struggle, as they have no straps. There is nothing unusual about my ankle or calf. My legs are actually a bit thin. I haven't made up my mind, and am going to check out some much cheaper alternatives. The rubber material isn't " stretchable " unfortunately. I'm wearing thin dress socks in the picture w thin pants.

Overall I loved these boots. They looked fantastic. The left boot fit with no problem at all, but the right boot was extremely difficult to get on, and worse to get off. I think the calf size listed for these boots was 15 1/2 inches, and after measuring my calves, I discovered my right calf to be 16 1/2. Unfortunately I had to return these. That's too bad because I really liked these.

I've never owned a pair of riding boots before so the sizing was a bit of a mystery. These were an asian size 45, I think I could have used a 44, but they weren't available. So basically I feel like I have a US size 11 when I normally wear a 10 or 10.5, so keep this in mind. They are quite comfy, and they aren't as obnoxious at the knee as I would have thought, but expect to feel them when you bend your knee. Also, these took quite awhile to arrive, probably shipped from China.

I love these boots. I would buy them again, and I have gotten many compliments on them thus far. They also are warm and dry. Do they come in brown? If they do, I will order a brown pair.............!!

If your like me and have more stout legs the tops are far too tight and the inside liner is much too thick, I’d order at least 2-3 sizes larger.

I am very pleased with these boots. They look great and fit very well. It was raining hard the day they arrived and I wore them right away. They were excellent. Kept my feet and legs warm and dry. A word of caution however. I don't think these boots would work very well for a short man. I am 6' and the boots reach my knee just as they should. I think any man shorter than 5'11" would find that they would restrict knee motion. My boys just saw my new boots! I didn't think they would like them as they do look very formal. Wrong, they flipped over them. Guess I will be ordering 2 more pairs soon!Nice thing, one doesn't have to spend hours polishing these bad boys! A quick wipe with soft cloth and they look great.(the boots not the boys, wish the boys cleaned up as easily and well) lol

I have no knowledge of riding but these boots seem tough enough. I bought them for a costume, however, and they look excellent and fit pretty comfortably. Although made of rubber, they look and feel like leather. Great buy, good price!
