I purchased these boots for our daughter after she outgrew her previous riding boots. We paired them with a set of Ariat half chaps. I have owned a few sets of Ariat work boots and cowboy boots so I was familiar with the brand's build quality. I obviously can't wear these, but after a few months of use and now being well broke in, my daughter couldn't be happier.

I bought my boots back in January and they have lasted me so long! Easy to clean, comfortable to ride in once broken in, and 100% worth the money.

Love these boots wore out my first pair, only took 5years!!! They fit me like a glove. I have wonderful support , I can wear all day . My feet didn’t get tired. I used them to ride horses and wore them often with skirts and dresses . A great boot!!

I wear a size 10 in heels with a tapered toe, however size 9 Ariel is perfect. Well constructed and most comfortable when partially laced at the top. After breaking I suspect upper will loosen a bit. A good looking and functional work or play boot. boot.

FINALLY!! I started out with these boots with the zipper, which didn’t work AT ALL. I don’t have an abnormally large or narrow foot, but the zipper just wouldn’t move in my correct size. I didn’t think the half size larger would work either because the length was pretty perfect.I went with an 8.5 in this boot, which is a half-size larger than normal for me; just because I didn’t want it too tight across the top, which seemed to be the issue with the zip ones. These work pretty well! They’re a tad on the loose side in the toe box being a half-size larger though. They’re genuine leather, so right out of the box they’re pretty stiff—any good leather shoe needs a good breaking in! I wanted these to work SO BADLY because of all the great reviews on them!! I want a good riding boot that’s leather and will last me YEARS. I hope I finally found one!!I honestly don’t know what to suggest for you readers. To go half-size up or stay true to size. For me, the half-size up seems to work better, but I don’t necessarily know why? Maybe it’s built for an extremely narrow foot...which I admit, I don’t have...but I also don’t have a fat or large foot either! When I discovered these fit me, I hurried up and sprayed them with the waterproof and stain protection...I want these to last as long as humanly possible! Especially since I’m going to be riding in them! I’m hoping the break-in doesn’t last TOO long...but again, they’re very stiff right out of the box, so you will need to break them in. Just consider that they won’t fit like they should IMMEDIATELY—they should get way more comfortable as time goes on! 😁Anyway, will update later if anything goes extremely wrong with these...if not, I’m HOPING these will be such a great boot for me!!

I bought these boots over two years ago, and they are still in great condition. I have worn them for barn chores, volunteering in a therapeutic riding center, training, and showing (with Dublin half chaps) probably averaging 10+ hours/week. They fit perfectly and are comfortable for walking and riding. My only complaint is they aren’t very insulated for winter. I just bought a pair of insulated Ariat paddock boots for the therapeutic riding center, but will only ever buy Ariats after my experience with these boots. They were replacing a different pair of cheaper paddock boots that literally fell apart from walking, and I expected the same to happen to these, but for the price I will just keep replacing them if they ever fall apart.

Let me start by saying that I have worn Ariats for many years and am an avid horsewoman who wears my boots daily. That being said, these are NOT what Ariats used to be about 20 years ago, but they are functional and comfortable. My last pair of paddock boots were the round toe design and I was disappointed that they only lasted a couple of summers before the stitching across the toe pulled free. Decided to try this style instead and see if they are any better at holding up to daily wear. They are not as comfortable as the round toe style, being tapered through the toe box, but I sized-up a half size to allow for the difference. So far, so good. Arrived quickly and in good condition. We shall see how they withstand daily wear and tear......

I needed a new pair of paddock boots after returning to riding, and I’m so glad I chose the Ariat Scout. In addition to looking great they fit beautifully and true to size with good ankle support both in and out of the saddle. These boots were pretty comfortable right out of the box and I’m sure will only get more so as they continue to break in. Great boot with good quality at this price point- I’m very happy with them so far.
