Works as it should, highly recommend changing hose clamp for gas nozzle to a heavy duty one, and use Teflon tape on everything that has threads.

Pump Failed, I was able to find a replacement American Pump but the threads on the tank are non-standard. I have been searching for an adapter for two months. I emailed TUFFIOM FOUR times using the Amazon system to request the specifications to the tank threads, they responded ONE TIME and asked for the model I purchased, I provided the info and they never replied again. Considering that I bought my own pump to replace their defective Pump, I though they could at least provide the tank threads so I can buy an adapter, but apparently not.AVOID TUFFIOM, zero support

As others have written, the tank seems pretty solid metal and holds diesel just fine. However, the pump and the hose attachment are pretty cheap material and I don't think will last long. The hose only connects via a small metal clamp and so it leaks a little when pumping.The directions aren't very precise in assembling the pieces. I ended up with an extra "lock nut" that I can't figure out where it goes. I contacted the seller who, though responsive, hasn't been able to resolve the issue either. So far it doesn't seem to have affected the function of the tank/pump but time will tell.It will do for now but if I had to buy again I would look for something better.

This fuel tank is perfect for what I had bought it for. I use it to fuel my airplane from the back of my pick up truck. My airplane is a high wing so I back under the wing, put the hose in the tank, hook up the attached grounding wire and pump fuel from the tank into my airplane. The one thing I really like about it is sometime because of maintenance requirements you have to take the fuel out of the aircraft. I found I simply put the hose in the tank and turn in the pump in reverse. I can suck all the fuel out of the airplane into the storage tank uncontaminated. Previously, I would have to drain it and put it in a bucket. I could no use it after that because has the potential to be contaminated. At the cost of fuel that’s a big savings. My quantity indicator didn’t work but they shipped a new replacement the day I notified them.

Have not pumped yet. Aluminum hose nozzle is the same size as a gas pump filler nozzle. You can not shove the hose down into a gas tank to drain the gas from a vehicle. Provided hose is wire reinforced. I found wire protruding from the crimp on the pipe side of the hose connection. Tried to cut it off shorter. Still got stabbed in the thumb by the wire. Made it safe with a blob of JB Weld epoxy. Will report on pumping success once I use it. So far looks like a nice tank.

Pretty well designed, had to replace the hand pump, seller took time to send one.. it’s plastic 🤷🏼♂️.. plastic chips were locked inside it. New pump works great. No issues. I used it to pump ethanol free gas for my motorcycles and gas equipments. Not many nearby my home. Loved the way I set up system, not having go distance get gas. The hose itself bends sharply, I used heat strink hose to keep it bending too far. ( see picture ) Works great. I’d recommend this tank, planning get yellow one for kerosene later. I run shop heater. Being prepared.

Product delivered quickly and assembled easily. Fill gauge did not work, float inside tank would not lift the tank fill level indicator. Message through Amazon indicating the problem was quickly resolved by the seller. New parts were shipped and received in less than one week. Overall tank is acceptable and of reasonable price and value. Don't understand why pipe fittings are non-standard otherwise a quality item.
