The module is based on a touch-sensing IC (TTP223B) capacitive touch switch module. In the normal state, the module output low, low power consumption. When a finger touches the corresponding position, the module output high, if not touched for 12 seconds, switch to low-power mode.
The module can be installed in such as surface plastic, glass of non-metallic materials. In addition to the thin paper (non-metallic) covering the surface of the module , as long as the correct location of the touch, you can make hidden in the walls, desktops and other parts of buttons.
The module allows you to dispense with the hassle of conventional press-type buttons.
Features:
Tap type: Initial state is low level, touch is high level, no touch is low level (similar to the function of light touch button)
Low power consumption, power supply is 2 ~ 5.5V DC
Positive and negative sides can be used as a touch surface, can replace the traditional touch button.
Control interface: a total of 3 pins (GND, VCC, SIG), GND is ground, VCC is the power supply, SIG is the digital signal output pin.
Power indicator: green LED, power on the correct that is lit.
Touch area: the internal area of the icon similar to the fingerprint, triggered by a light touch of the finger.
Positioning holes: 4pcs M2 screw positioning holes, aperture 2.2mm, so that the module is easy to install, to achieve the combination between the modules.

This is about as straightforward as it gets... touch the sensor, and boom, it does its thing. No drama, no weird quirks, just a simple capacitive touch switch that plays nice with Arduino and other projects. Runs on 2V to 5.5V, so unless you’re trying to power it with the sun, you’re good to go. You get ten in a pack, which is great because if you’re like me, you’ll misplace at least three before even starting your project.
