If you think the aperture ring will make your photography experience nice you shouldn't buy this. It does not turn easily. I have other lenses with aperture ring that are so much fun to shoot with.

So, wanted a good walk around and compact lens for my old Sony A6000, but also wanted a 40mm or so equivalent focal length. I’ve had good experiences with TTArtisan on other lenses, so thought why not give this puppy a try - can’t beat the price, and it might be better than expected. Good news: It is. Sharp across the frame from f4 onward, and sharp in the center at f2.8. Autofocus is indistinguishable from Sony lenses for my uses. Feels well made, has an aperture ring for those of us who know how to use one, and all in all a terrific bargain. Glad I took the chance on this lens!

Terrific photo lens. Good, fastautofocus on Sony A6700.

This lens is great. Not just for the price. This lens is very sharp especially at F3.5 and up. The small size is what really makes this little guy shine. It's only 1.25 inches long and barely extends past the grip of the A6600. There is vignetting but nothing more that I usually see on different lenses.( easily fixed in editing ) The auto focus in single shot mode is mediocre so I use AF-C mode which seems quicker. The sharpness and size definitely make up for any negatives so I have no regrets.

I wanted a small lens with a wide shooting frame and enough bokeh to provide decent depth for portraits and close ups, especially since the Sony A600 series is so compact. This lens was an absolute slam dunk for trip, and it allowed for wide frame street photography shots while capturing landscape shots when needed. The 2.8 provided very sufficient bokeh for portraits of my partner. For the price, this is an excellent lens. I was able to fit my entire camera into my 2l crossbody bag, allowing me to discretely bring it on the Paris metro and other public places where pickpocket is an issue.Cons: The autofocus is a bit slower, but I expect that from this price range. There is no ISS, but is it not needed because of the wide shooting profile and sufficient aperture. For videos, shooting at 60fps and having a steady hand helped with shakiness. I imagine post-editing and using stabilization would further help. Th

Es bueno el lente un poco lento para el enfoque automático en video pero si te saca de apuros si no tienes follow focus

I bought a F2.8 Sigma lens back when I first bought the a6000. It was a very handy lens and I didn't really need the TTArtisan lens. I was quite interested to see how well it worked given its low price. The TTArtisan is an excellent lens. The images are sharp. The auto focus is silent. The size is very practical.
