My brother used one of my lights and didn't clamp it on right and ended up casting it into the lake on accident. For 2 hours this thing floated in the lake and slowly drifted to shore. Not only do they float but it didn't get any water into it and stayed lit the whole time! We did manage to get it back out of the water too!

I have been using the glow stick type of lights on my rods for decades. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with these led lights. These not only are so much brighter they are much better on how they attach to your pole. They went on all of my rods and the latch held them on securely. I have used them on 3 night fishing trips where they were on for 9+ hours and they are still just as bright as the day I put the fresh batteries in them. I can say I love these little led lights. If you shop around on Amazon, the CR425 Lithium Batteries are not very expensive in comparison to a one use glow stick. I am ordering a second set of them so I have extras for friends and family. One tip I have is when you unscrew them to turn them off, flip the battery and put it in backwards to save battery life.

Nothing about this product is functional or practical. The housing design will not interlock due to design and the bulbs are barely visible past 15ft. The batteries required are hard to find and when you do find them it’s another $30 to outfit a pack of these lights. They need to reengineer or remove this item asap. Almost felt like it was a joke or a scam.
