Its NOT 24 inches. It's 23 3/4 inches. You might think well maybe it's only marked 23 3/4 inches but its actually 24 inches long. Nope. Not even 24 inches long. I specifically chose this one because the pictures clearly show the marking going all the way to 24 inches. I'll be sending it back and getting a different one that is actually 24 inches.

I had been looking for a T-square upgrade and liked the idea of the holes to allow for precision marking. The pencil size holes in 1/32" increments is awesome. The tool itself is of high quality and precision. This is my new go to, and I am quite pleased with the purchase.That said, it is not entirely clear from the product description on Amazon what size pencil you need. Turns out, what works for me is a 7mm lead pencil. The holes are not much bigger than that, and this means you need to be careful when marking (lead breaks easily). This certainly is not enough to knock the rating down, but do be sure to get a decent mechanical pencil if you want to use this marking functionality.The only other thing that was less than ideal was the fact that it requires assembly. The machining is spot on, which pretty much ensures you'll get a right angle. But I would have preferred a single piece.

For best results, I recommend using a 0.7 mm or 0.9 mm mechanical pencil with these holes.The weight of the T-square feels just right — solid but not too heavy — and it has no noticeable flex, which adds to its precision. Although I’ve only used it for a short time, I’m confident it will remain a reliable tool for years to come.For those seeking a high-quality, affordable T-square ruler, I wholeheartedly recommend the Aiwons 24-inch. It offers excellent value, thoughtful design, and solid performance.

Didn’t know how bad I needed this until I had it. I do a lot of wood cutting and design and this t square is so handy and helpful I’m sure I’ve saved hours using it.Pros: calibration is right on, sturdy, and dependable.Cons: pencil holes for marking are very small

I've wanted a T-square with increments for more precise measuring for my woodworking for quite some time. I snagged this one on a Prime Day deal. It comes with two pieces that you screw together to form the "T". Once connected it is very solid. This is a great tool and I don't have any complaints so far!

I bought the 6 inch initially and liked it so much that I bought the 24 inch to supplement it. Accurate and I like the ability to accurately measure fractional parts of an inch. Sturdy and price is reasonable..
