These are an easy upgrade for the K01. If you do a lot of medium to small pocket knives, these make life so much easier. They won't get you all the way to a center hold on the pivot, but it's close enough to do most small blades. It's less advantageous on large knives unless they are very thin or have pretty severe curve like a boning or skinning blade where the extra offset can help. That said, they do come in pretty handy to get that little extra reach to stabilize the tip on longer chef and fillet knives. Yeah, they are a bit spendy, but when you need them you don't mind the cost as much.

These are a great addition to any TSPROF Sharpening System. These L-Brackets do 2 things, when attached to clamps on the inside of the brackets you can bring the 2 clamps so close together making like one single large clamp. The second is you can attach the clamps on the outside of these brackets and widen the distance between the 2 clamps. It is a less expensive alternative to purchasing the large single clamp with the ability to widen the distance the opposite direction for longer blades.
