These are good, strong magnets; however, the screws they came with are too short for the strength of the magnets, and you may find, as I did, that they pull themselves out. If you replace the screws with some longer ones, these will hold up and stay in place.

It is exactly what I needed to keep my good knives from dulling in a generic drawer or big bulky case. Small in size and ease of use is a plus. Just screw and away you are.Mounted these on the underside of my cabinets. The only thing I wish that came with it is some tape to reduce metal on metal scratches.

These little magnets are extremely strong for their size. I have a new chef's knife but was out of space in our knife block. So I ordered these magnets to mount the new knife to the top of the block and display the new knife. One of them holds so well it would have been sufficient to hold the knife in place by itself, but I attached a second one so that the knife is evenly elevated off of the knife block.I will likely use the others on the sides of the knife block four, an additional vegetable cleaver that I plan on obtaining in the future. The finish is nice, shiny, and even. I pre-drilled some small holes for the screws, and they mounted very easily. It comes with a nice plastic case to hold the magnets and screws, and is it great value for the price.

Holy moly. These magnetic strips are STRONG. HINT: Try not to let them stick to each other. Keep something sturdy between them because they are a beast to pull apart. The strength is what I needed and that’s what I got.I screwed them to the wall in my shop and I could put a metal can against them and they held strong. The plastic containers with screws etc- I taped a small piece of metal to the bottle and the magnet holds them strong. I also strung string through them and put them on two different metal doors and used them to help pull the doors shut. (Easier for a disabled person). I love these magnets and expect to get lots of use from them.

Easily holds a 16oz. Claw hammer. My fault I tightened the screw too tight and cracked one of them but because they are in a metal U shape sleeve it still functions as intended.Must slide apart. You can not pull apart, too strong.Too tight was with my drill driver clutch set at lowest setting.

This type of magnet is always brittle and breakable so care must be taken to not stress it. The reinforced metal bracket helps, but I still broke one overtightening the mounting screw. Even the broken mounted magnet was useable. My recommendation is to use a little glue and not have to tighten the screw as tight.I use these with another Neodymium magnet without mounting holes to hold curtains and protective covers in place. They are very strong when used together and everything is held firmly in place. There are stronger magnets available but they are much bulkier and much more expensiveI have ordered these several times and will continue to use them.

Sometimes be a bit difficult. These are not your refrigerator magnets but they will work that way (more later) As some have said.. they are fragile. All real magnets are. They come in a very nice bracket with holes on each end for mounting and the wood screws to do so. If you are mounting on wood? they work great. Just don't tighten the screws to much or you can actually break the magnet. snug is good. for mounting on say a fridge... The magnets will stick to the fridge as any other but... They are powerful. Whatever metal like a knife that you stick to them? when you go to pull the knife off it will take the magnet with it. My solution was to just put a few drops of super glue to the back of the magnet before letting it stick to the fridge. Now it is stuck to the fridge more than to whatever you are sticking to the magnet. if that makes sense. With just one of these magnets I mounted, using super glue and the magnets natural force, a stubby hammer that weighed close to a pound. it secured the hammer with force you can feel. On wood the screws do the job. Very pleased. The chrome plate is attractive also.
