Have been through too many wood handles and this one lasted me all concrete season. Perfect.

I liked the quality of the handle. I watched a YouTube video on how to replace the handle and it went very well.

Purchased over a month ago, but I haven’t had time to beat anything up. Used over the weekend to bust up red brick and cement. 12 lb head with the shaft made quick work of the pile. Handle is smooth and has a nice feel. Did not feel any flex in the shaft, very solid. 34” instead of 36” saves you money, how much more leverage swinging the hammer do you get for the extra 2 inches? If I were to use this professionally I’d pay for the extra leverage and buy a 20 lb head.

With an oval maul eye like I have it is necessary to shave the plastic to fit in the eye of the head.Be sure to seal the bottom of the head to the shoulder of the handle really well because the epoxy will run out like water (just more slowly) if there is a leak.Test your seal by pouring in water first, checking for leaks, then pour out and let it dry thoroughly before mixing and pouring the epoxy. To fill in large gaps in the eye you can use shot, BBs or get some small fishing split shot at your local tackle and bait shop, which is what I used.

34 in sledge handle. Didn't know it was supposed to come with epoxy. It didn't.In fact the piece of tape that held epoxy kit to handle was waving in breeze but I didn't know that either.Never buy again.

Just plain high quality replacement handles. Strong and durable. Will probably outlast me and the work I do. Lots of broken wooden handles in my past.
