This thing is huge, which actually makes it super durable and easy to handle in larger systems. Instead of drawing samples, you can just shove it through an inspection port. Overall it is easy to read, and reasonably accurate compared to other similar testers. It reads quickly and so far it has been working perfectly.

This nutrient meter is exactly what I needed for my hydroponic system! It’s super easy to use and helps me keep track of the nutrient levels in my water, which is crucial for healthy plant growth. The different settings for EC, PPM500, PPM700, and CF are really convenient, and the digital readout is clear and accurate. It’s been a huge part of my indoor garden, and I feel much more confident about maintaining the right conditions for my plants. If you're into hydroponics, this is a must-have!

I have been trying to dial in my nutrients just right and this nutrient meter actually helped me figure out where I was doing things wrong. This helped me out quite a bit as I burned a few plants and I wasn't sure what caused it until I could measure the nutrients I was adding and found that one was not what it was labeled as. Works great, easy to read and understand and is nice and long so you can get it down in deep pots and still read it. Super handy tool that I can highly recommend!

This thing is really big. I guess it's made to use in a 5 gallon bucket. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. I am new to hydroponics and I don't even know what all the readings mean and my set up is just one of those counter top models. But I guess I have this if and when I need it.

Works great right out the box. So nice not having to calibrate right away.

Yes it works but take heed ,it has no pH and it's kind of pricey ,look elsewhere for a bargain.

My husband and I just started getting into growing our own veggies and herbs indoors. It's been an amazing process, and we've already harvested some lettuce. This has been a very beneficial and necessary tool for us during our hydroponic journey. These are not all created equal, but this brand is a really good quality for the price. We went through some duds with other brands at first, and finally settled on this one, and we're really glad we did! The accuracy seems to be on point with what our plants were showing when we were moving to a new nutrient company.

I have a 54 plant hydroponic garden and some of the plants are one shade of green while others are another shade. Some yellow, some look okay. Almost none look perfect. I had added nutrients to it, attempted to dial it in, then realized I needed an actual tool to measure the nutrient content in the water. The Truncheon nutrient meter did an excellent job soling my problem. It arrived in a nice package that showed what it was. It was packed well and perfect when I pulled it out of the box. There is one part that you must be careful with when you put it together, it's a 4 hole plug. After I lined it up, connected everything, the batteries are already in it and ready to go. I put it in the hydroponic garden, cycled through the various readouts and in a few moments, I had a stable reading. There was no guide that told me what that reading meant. Every plant wants something a little different. I had to do some research. Within my research, I found a range that everything would thrive at. I also found from the meter that my readings indicated I had put twice the amount of nutrients in the water than I the plants wanted. After an adjustment, and another measurement to make sure I was within range, and only a few days, the plants all look nice and deep green now. I highly recommend the Truncheon Nutrient Meter. It works great!
