If all you want is the these Chicago type screw rivets hold then they are good enough. The aluminum is very soft, so the slot strips easily and the black plating scratches off very easily. I had to use a black marker on every single screw rivet to cover up the blemishes. My suggestion is to spend the extra and get the Chicago Screw brand and stainless steel.

these are okay Chicago screws, they are as shown and as described. I would recommend using a large oversize Flathead screwdriver if not the material is soft enough to strip out the head of the screw. They are a bit overpriced in comparison to other online vendors so I am not totally sure if I would recommend them because of the lack of value but the quality is as expected so for that I would

I made a roll cage cargo net for my Jeep YJ cage, and fastened the cross hatch of the straps with these, and with buckles..... they worked fine, Maybe a little easy to scratch, but served my propose well. Price was right.

I ordered 1/8 inch black aluminum screws with closed back. I received 1/8 inch plain aluminum screws. I did not think it would be worth the hassle to try to return.

Even though the package includes 100, the price with shipping puts you at nearly 50 cents a set. They are shipped in a small re-closeable box with two small ziploc baggies, one for the male end and one for the female. Keep in mind these are aluminum so they are light weight but the shallow flathead slot on the male end is very prone to stripping the soft alloy. The finish is not matte, as I expected, just be advised. I used them for custom kydex holsters. It works well with two sheets of .08 kydex, holstex, ABS, PVC or what ever. Normally I would order from a store that specializes in holster and sheath making, but being out of the country and really wanting to make holsters to pass the time led me to use amazon. Overall, you can find better and cheaper ones else were, but if you need decent quantity ASAP with a name that you know will ship to an FPO AP, this option works.
