I got an S at first for my 6 1/2 yr old. It fit but it barely fit. I returned and ordered an M instead and this one fits perfectly. She has space still to grow more into it and I can tighten it to fit the size of her actual head.

My 7 year old says her helmet is "super comfortable." I was recommended a much more expensive brand, but street doing lots of research, the Spirit seemed to be at the top of multiple lists in safety, so it's a great deal. The print seems to be pretty durable as well.

Seems to be a great helmet. My daughter loves it. She says it feels great. This is the first riding helmet she has owned. Usually she uses her instructor's helmets. Her helmet is tightened to the smallest and it is perfect. She will have plenty of room to grow. If your measurements are accurate they will match exactly to the manufacturer's suggestions

Our 11 year old daughter opened this as a birthday present. She absolutely loves it. We bought the medium size. We love that it has a dial to adjust the size to a perfect fit. The horse pop art was fantastic.
