The Trinity College TM-275 Mandola is designed for traditional Celtic music though they are used un a wide variety of other styles as well.Top quality , all solid wood construction. The traditional style body is complemented by an elegant snakehead peghead with distinctive abalone inlay in the black and white overlay. This fine instrument has a Natural Finish

Plays and sounds great. I would have rated it a 5 except it came without the tailpiece cover.

I was surprised that the bridge did not come attached, but now I understand that this is normal for Mandolas and Mandolins. The Trinity College M-275 cuts a striking figure and has a warm tone. It has provided me with an enjoyable challenge during the pandemic. It is a great addition to my instrument collection.

I received the product yesterday, it's beautiful but the end pin/button is missing. How can I get touch with the company and receive the correct pin/button?

I don't normally buy stringed instruments without being able to play them but this particular one I couldn't find in a store so I trusted the reviews. I am not at all disappointed . It is well made and sounds great. The inlays and finish are excellent.

I have a violin, a viola that sounds like a cello, and a bass ukelele, so this mandola rounds out the quartet. I'm not an aficionado of these instruments, but I do love the look and sound and playability of this one. It's just been a dream to play. Love it. The top does mark very easily, though, so be careful.

My Trinity College mandola arrived -missing the base pin (no big deal),but bridge not installed (downright annoying !)Fortunately, I had a tape measure, and recalled the scale length (distance from nut to bridge) was 17" , so I was able to set the instrument up.In truth, although this instrument should have been returned to the distributor - or sold as "damaged goods", it sounds nice. I'll pick up a bridge pin somewhere when I buy a strap---later on.

The price for this product is great for the quality. It's not professional standard, yet is not a cheap instrument which gets out of tune easilly, etc. Have owned for close to 3 months and have had no problems what so ever. Great price as well because it is new not used. My applause to trinity college for such a good product for it's price.

I actually purchased a TM-275B which is the black-finish version of the Trinity College mandola. I would have reviewed under that catagory but it is not presently available. I'm expecting that the natural finish instruments will be in all other respects similar to what I received. I gave this instrument 5 stars without hesitation. I had been playing a mandola borrowed from my nephew that was made by Idaho luthier Lawrence Smart, a gorgeous, high-end A-style instrument with stunning tone and playability. Faced with the prospect of returning that instrument and not ready to order my own hand-made mandola, I decide to get a stop-gap, inexpensive one for the transition. The Trinity College mandola far-exceeded my expectations in nearly every catagory. It is very nicely made: no gobs, smears or holidays in the finish. The materials are high-quality: solid woods, nice tuning heads. The decorative appointments, Celtic cross on the headstock, the bindings and fingerboard inlays, are beautifully done and, in spite of my low expectations, the instrument has beautiful tone, great sustain and all the volume one could ask for. The one down side (and this is mentioned in other reviews)is the misleading promise of "Shop adjusted" in the description. You need to be prepared to set up the instrument or get a professional to do it for you. This is not a big deal, and once it is properly adjusted this instrument is a very pleasant surprise.
