I used to secure a nylon nut with washer on my OVS roof awning mounted to my truck cap roof rack, so not it's intended purpose, but it worked well. As others have noted, it does feel a bit lighter than expected, but it has held up well now going on a few road trips. Plus the added peace of mind is well worth it.

Worked well. The bracket piece does seem cheap. Would prefer steel instead of die cast part. It worked well and gives piece of mind even though it wouldn't stop a determined thief.

Purchased to lock my spare trailer tire and give me some peace of mind knowing it’s no longer something that can be easily stolen. The value for money is good, key functionality is good along with lock functionality. And the fit and ease of removal is good.

Bought this to cover the bolt on the spare wheel for a dog trailer. It fits well, is easy to use, and I hope it'll be a deterrent. Could someone really get it off if they wanted to? A good thief (or a seriously blunt one) can get whatever they really want. So, no, it'll not stop a determined thief, but it should at least keep the casual chancer off. And it's still on there well, and it would be difficult without damaging the the bolt. All in all, I'm happy with it.

This lugnut lock works well and was an easy install. It is one extra step a thief needs to deal with if they want to steal my spare wheel/tire from my boat trailer. I know that it would not be really difficult to defeat this lock but it is just an additional headache that would prevent an opportunistic thief. It is worth the few bucks to add it onto my trailer's security.

I use this to secure my trailer spare tire on its bracket. The base sits under the lugnut and you tighten it down the put the locking cover on it and lock it. Seems fairly sturdy but I'm sure if someone really wanted my spare then it probably would make it take a little longer to get it off.
