The pics help show the size. This is larger than a trigger point ball and that is why I bought it. It’s also made out of solid foam so it a bit softer when you apply pressure to it. Use it for my upper back and hips and calves.

Triggerpoint developed the perfect density foam that isn't so squishy that it collapses under weight of rolling, but that isn't so hard that it hurts/does damage. I've tried many foam balls, and this is the best by far.

This is a miracle worker. I can even use it in my recliner. You decide the pressure and exact location (you'll need help placing it in areas you cannot reach). I use it mainly for my back.

As I age my muscles are trying real hard to make my life miserable. It's quite annoying. I have used several types of balls for trigger point release before finding this one. It is soft enough to decrease the pain of pressing on a rock hard muscle, but it still does the job, and the muscle will release. The size covers a bigger area so it doesn't take as long to do a large area as using smaller balls. I have one for my house and now, one for my camper.

Knots in your muscles? Grab some high density foam and iron out the fascia. This ball has been a game changer.

Ooof! My body is sore with marathon training and this ball is my saving grace. I take it with my to work and back home each day- maybe I need to order a second one! It hits those trigger points in my glutes and hips better than anything. It works way better than a lacrosse ball and better than a full roller too! A perfect combination, everyone who moves their body and feels some soreness needs this in their tool box to work out those trigger points!

Too big for traps and lats. Too soft, as well.
