Also includes equipment checklist page, personal information/emergency contact page, and 9 pages for sketching dive maps.

Dive log books aren’t just for instructors, students or technical divers. It’s important for every diver to log every dive.

First, every diver’s oxygen consumption profile is unique, can change over time, and will vary depending on dive conditions. Maintaining an accurate log ensures better estimates of safe dive length and depth, helping to prevent out of air emergencies.

Second, weeks, months or years later, you may not remember the lay of the land from a previous dive when preparing to revisit the same site. Knowing what to expect makes it easy to ensure you’re bringing all the gear you’ll need, and not carrying extra weight from equipment you don’t need.

Finally, if you ever need to convince a dive master or tour guide of your experience level, your handy dive log will spell it all out for anyone to see.

Fold over binding, waterproof plastic cover and pages.

Dimensions:

7 x 4.25 inches (17.78 x 10.8cm) closed, 14 x 4.25 inches (35.56 x 10.8cm) open.

Bought this as a gift for my wife who is a certified scuba diver. She was very pleased by my selection. Very durable and easy to clean.

I miss the dive tables and decompression tables that used to be included in the dive log

With all the scuba equipments you have to take care of, a small and waterproof dive log like this one is so convenient. It does not take up much room in your bag and the writing spaces in the log are designed for brief notes. If you do not care for elaborate diving records and just want to be able to take note of really important information, this dive log is perfect. Both pencils and pens work well on the paper. And I love the bright red flag cover. A good visual reminder not to leave it behind or lose it.

With nearly 200 dives, I don't want one of those big cumbersome log books. I want to just write a sentence or two about each of my dives, along with the pertinent facts like date, location, divemaster, etc. This waterproof logbook is perfect for that. It records 5 dives per 2-page spread, up to a maximum of 165 dives per book.Like others who gave more negative reviews reported, I had lots of problems with ink smearing UNTIL I bought the Rite in the Rain All-Weather pen here on Amazon, which completely solves the problem with ink smearing. I recommend this book very highly for experienced divers still wanting to record the highlights of each of our dives.

I used up my previous book and needed another book. This exact same book was hard to find. Tried new books but they were too cumbersome. This is compact yet big enough to input all pertinent dive info. Please do not discontinue this model!

This water-proof dive log is one of the best I have ever had. With over 1,000 logged dives I no longer bother with recording a whole page of data, just the date and location and buddy and interesting things.

The water proof is also ink proof. Unless you are writing your log underwater just get a normal paper log book.

We tried Sharpie pens, ink pens, and several other types of writing utensils but they all smeared. The ink doesn't dry and makes a mess. I was very disappointed in this book.
