1. Heavy Duty Plastic Tri-Glide Slides These sizes tri glide sliders are all heavy duty plastic tri glide slide buckles. They passed tensile tests. Tri glide sliders 5/8 inch can hold 20kgs(44LBS) pulling force. Tri glide sliders 3/4 inch can hold 30kgs(66LBS) pulling force. Tri glide sliders 1 inch can hold 40kgs(88LBS) pulling force. Tri glide sliders 1.25 inch can hold 50kgs(110LBS) pulling force. Tri glide sliders 1.5 inch can hold 60kgs(132LBS) pulling force. Tri glide sliders 2 inch can hold 80kgs(176LBS) pulling force. 3/8 inch Tri glide slides can hold 41lbs(19kgs) pulling forces.

4. How to install the tri glide slide buckles ? You can see your backpack adjustable strap or the other waist pack, You will easily find how to install the tri glide slide buckle. you need let the webbing go through two slots, Then stitch this end of webbing. The webbing's other end goes through the square buckle on backpack,Then go through two slots of tri glide slide buckle again. At last stitch the other end of webbing after going through the square buckle of the backpack's other side.

I had to change the one on my fenny pack that was too thin and I broke it (Right one in the images). As you can see this one is much thicker (left one), at least double. The size is perfect for the strap. I took the 1.5 inches. The thinner was was slightly bigger but this fits anyway. It doesn't look too thick on the bag. I just changed it and it actually looks great and not bulky.

The width is as advertised and they are of expected quality. Ended up not using them though as my strapping was too thick for them. My fault, will hang on to for future use.

Lots of packs have buckles but don’t include triglides, so the straps slip due to load and vibration.The triglides are good quality. The openings are wide enough to take straps that have been sewn over at the ends. Just what I need for my ski packs and harnesses.
