Bought these in May 2024, started using them in June 2024. Absolute junk! Within four weeks the plastic coating started cracking and breaking off and the kinks started happening. Six months later, one of the cables has snapped. This is for 50-65 lb dogs that are only on it 20 minutes at a time, three times a day. The locking mechanism on the Clips constantly gets stuck, locks when I had it fully open previously. Would never buy again. 👎🏼

I have problems with these cables rusting and breaking in the type of weather we have. This one has lasted the longest and still going strong. Hardly any where and tear for over a year now

We live in a rural area. Our property is a mix of lawn, woods, and thick brush overgrowth. We have a rescue who is a runner. Had him on a long, thick cable that connected to the ground stake with a normal carabiner. It somehow comes off. The first time, our dog was just a little farther away than normal. The next time, it was nighttime and he took off into the brush dragging the cable. He wasn’t off property, so his gps tracker didn’t go off. He got tangled up and knew he wasn’t supposed to be where he was, so he was silent as a church mouse. Took us forever to find him using Bluetooth. We managed to get him unhooked and out, but the cable was a lost cause. Needed a new one and it needed to be more secure. I have those thin tie out cables that you get at the pet store for camping. I knew I wanted something thicker like the lost cable. This is fantastic. It is secure on the ground end. Pretty quick and easy to unscrew and release the carabiner from his collar. Might be more difficult in the winter when it is cold an$ we are wearing gloves. The cable is nice and thick. Wrapped with plastic covering, so as long as my husband doesn’t hit it with the lawn mower, should last a long while. Happy with the 50ft length.

I found my dog walking my front yard with the cable dragging behind it. After imagining what could’ve happened to my dog I can’t recommend a product that’ll not keep our pets secure.

Arrived timely for my chewer pup who needs some boundaries. He tested it but knows he can't get through it. Even the cats trust it, we can give him more length over time. I am excited to use it outside, he will have a huge amount of controlled space.

I have a strong, 60 lb pittie. I love that the caribiners on each end of this tie out are the kind that screw shut - gives me peace of mind that they won't break. The cable wire is also thick enough that I'm confident if my dog pulls.

Ce cable resiste très bien aux tractions de mon anglo français pourtant très puissant. Ce type de mousqueton resiste beaucoup mieux que ceux en forme de ?

Clip is very easy to use, and the screw top to secure screws very easily, or you can leave it down if you don't want it, so it's not a requirement. Very lightweight, but also very secure, no problem standing up to our large greyhound/deerhound cross. He has chewed through many leads in seconds, and even likes to chew plastic, so was worried about him having a go at this, but the soft coating over the cable must not be appealing (I think he likes the 'crunch' of plastic) so have had no attempts to chew through. Have had about a month, left outside, and no signs of wear or rust yet. Does well to remain untangled and not get caught on anything, including paws, compared with fabric/tapes. Very pleased.
