I had quite the pile of batting remnants from various quilts and project. I hate to throw it out. I now cut my scraps with a straight edge and can fuse multiple pieces together to make the size piece I need for my project. Once it is quilted in my quilt or bag, it stays perfectly in place. I've washed my projects and honestly can't tell which ones have the pieced batting and which has a whole piece. The tape is lightweight enough, there is no problem with the needle going through it. I have salvaged hundreds of dollars of batting that would have otherwise gone into a dog bed or the garbage.

Instructions to apply were not included! Just four rolls in a plastic bag. I will figure it out.

Have only used once so far but I am very happy with how easy it was to use for piecing batting together for a quilt.
