For the price paid for these. I was hoping for a little more thickness. They work and have kept the bunnies from eating my saplings. But you have to use zip ties to hold them together and the bend a little to easily.

These were so easy to install around the small Japanese maples I’ve been collecting for a few years. They’re all small trees and a weed eater took one out so these were an afterthought, should have been a first thought! I’m hoping no more accidental cuts to my beloved trees. They’re unobtrusive and I had no trouble installing.

I use this to protect young trees from winter deer bark feeding. I had plastic versions that worked to protect the trees until the trees outgrew the plastic diameter . These metal designs are perfect. Each component of the kit was exceptional quality- screens, zip ties, anchors, and even a pair of high quality fabric gloves with rubber palms and fingers to prevent minor injury to hands during installation. The gloves were not required as the screens were safe to handle.I rarely review, but was pleased enough to do so for this purchase.

For years, I've fought with large rolls of wire fencing to make my own tree guards. It is such a time-consuming hassle to try to measure out the right amount and snip each cross wire without getting hit in the face with a fence roll. Granted, it's definitely cheaper to make your own, but this spring I was sick and exhausted, so I gave these a try. I couldn't believe how much easier the process was. No frustration, no pain, tidy-looking tree guard in about a minute. They stack easily for taller trees, and I combined 3 of them in a sort of club shape (like playing cards) for my 3-stem river birch. They're sturdy enough to protect against rabbits and squirrels, though you'd need a finer grid to keep voles out. I ended up ordering a second set because I'm not going back to dragging hardware cloth rolls around the yard this year.

I live in a suburban neighborhood where, this year, the deer have decided they feel quite at home. The bucks had stripped one newly planted tree of its bark, and completely uprooted another! I knew I had ot act quickly or I would lose both saplings. These did the trick! They were easy to assemble and stack to protect my young trees. Fast, easy solution. I recommend
