Your cart is empty.The TRED30-16R supersedes the existing TRED30-7 model. The LogTag TRED30-16R Temperature Logger measures and stores up to 15,900 temperature readings over a -40°C to +99°C (-40°F to +210°F) measurement range from an External Probe. The display is designed to show ‘at a glance’ if temperature excursions have occurred during the current day and up to the previous 29 days. The display also shows the current temperature reading, the current time, recording status and battery status. The alarm is trigged if temperature readings are outside pre-set alarm limits. The status indicator changes from a ✓ to a ✗ and, if configured, the audible alarm will sound. The day marker will also appear if not already present. The alarm status indicator and audible alarm can be easily cleared, but the day marker remains to ensure a visible record of excursions is shown on the display. A simplified alarm clearance, stop & start procedure is available as an option. Details of any excursions in the preceding 30 days can be checked directly by inspecting the statistics history on the loggers display or in more detail by downloading the logged data via a standard LogTag docking station to LogTag Analyzer operating software. I have bought a lot of different temp loggers from LogTag (Microdaq) and others over the years. I routinely get 4+ years of service on LogTag TREX-8 with external probe taking 10 minute readings. And they always came calibrated pretty much dead on to reference thermometers and never drifted much over their lifetime, staying within 1F. I thought I would upgrade to model TRED30-16CP that gave a realtime readout and an audible alarm. Said on the product flyer that calibration software would be provided for free to calibration companies and I need yearly calibration so I bought some. Both units as received read more than 3 degrees off from two recently calibrated reference thermometers, using 2 different brand new LogTag standard external probes. I asked my calibration service to request the software to calibrate the units and they were denied. LogTag lied in the product flyer and will only calibrate these themselves, using only a single point calibration for $59. I am mainly pissed that they units were so far off as recieved new. The other two brands of temp loggers I use are all a bit more expensive, but both come with free software built into the graphing and download program that allows for user calibration. LogTag not providing this option is a huge negative and I would use the standard practice to double check your units against reference thermometers after you get them to verify accuracy.

Fantastic item, but should come with instructions. DifficultTo get going but once it is it works well!

This is VFC compliant. I considered getting the one that's slightly cheaper and does not come with a probe but felt that it would be better to have one calibrated with the specific probe. Not sure it really makes a difference but that was my thinking.
