I can't speak to the accuracy but I can on the longevity (via the included Care Instructions). I did not see this in any of the fine print before purchase but the included Care Instructions read "It is expected that the Temptag will display accurately for 4- 6 weeks depending on care and usage."For a few dollars more I purchased a digital coffee thermometer that should last me longer than 4-6 months. Therefore, I returned the tags.That said, if you purchase this product buy the 3-pack (i.e. 12 tags) as economically it's a much better deal and will of course last longer.

We normally buy a different brand for our coffee shop but could not get them in time. These got to use quickly and are great quality. I love the three different colors for the different temp ranges.

I put one of these on three different milk pitchers I've had. I have not replaced the stickers since December 2022, and they still read accurately! I check every few weeks with a precise electric thermometer to confirm that the stickers are still reading accurately and they have never failed that test. They do start to degrade physically the more you wash them (hand wash only), but like I said, I've had the same stickers on for a year, and they are just now getting close to needing to be replaced.I didn't want to have another thing to clean after making lattes every day, so instead of a physical thermometer, these are a great addition to any home espresso bar because they make it easy not to scald your milk and don't require extra washing.Finally, a pro tip for new users - make sure when you apply the sticker to a milk pitcher, put it in a location you can see while steaming, and also in a location near the bottom so that the milk touches the sticker always.I accidentally put my first sticker in a bad location so I couldn't read it while steaming, and it was also too high, so when I was steaming something small, like for a cortado, it wouldn't capture the temperature well because the milk wasn't hitting the sticker.

These work as advertised, but I wish they were rectangular, it would make it easier to apply.
