This is an absolutely genius invention. It was exactly what I was looking for. Instead of having a bunch of cables everywhere and devices to slide up and down you just plug a lamp into this box that’s plugged into the wall and then remote control DIM the lamp up and down. It is unbelievably easy and perfect.

The dimmer works, however, it ONLY works with the remote and the remote is worthless. Requires a half dozen or more depressions of up/down buttons to succeed in turning a lamp on or off or to change brightness level. Don't waste your money.

Works great. Has a low enough setting that the lamp can be used as a night lite. Bright enough to be used as a reading lamp. No that I have it I wish it had WiFi control, which is no issue.

Setup is easy, works as it should. I like that the plugs are on the side so the extra box doesn't add to the bulge and you can still use it behind furniture.

This device is plug and play. The remote control on/off button turns the light on/off in a dimming fashion which is better for lightbulb longevity. The brightness or dimness can be set by pressing the appropriate button sequentially until desired brightness is reached or by just keeping your finger on the button until the desired brightness is reached. This is clearly a well engineered product. My one disappointment is that I would like to control the light from several locations in the room. There is no way to purchase the remote controller alone to add this capability to the switch

The remote paired easily to the dimmer, but the dimmer initially did not respond to the remote consistently. I tried pairing the remote again and putting in a new battery, but the response was still poor. I was ready to give up an post a negative review, when I moved it to a new location. For some unknown reason the dimmer is working perfectly in the new location, even being situated low to the floor and behind a large dresser. The remote has a good range, but needs to be pointed in the general direction of the dimmer. I am glad I did not give up on it.

I recently had my landlord hang 2 plug in swag lights that I bought on Amazon, above my breakfast bar which was in serious need of more lighting and ambiance. Each had a dimmer but it was a pain to have to turn them on separately and set the dimmers exactly the same. This solved the problem perfectly. I plugged both into the the device and now I can turn both lights on and off with the touch of one button on the remote control, and can dim or brighten the lights at the exact same level. Better still, is that this works from the plug-in unit or the remote for ease of access. The remote works from anywhere on my first floor. Very handy. Set up was easy and it works great! Highly recommend!
