Not very many document cameras have an HDMI out feature that makes it easy to plug into a living room tv but this one does. Reading with both my boys at the same time is a lot easier being able to put the book under the camera. Everyone can read along.

This camera worked for 1 month and then quit working. I tried a new cord. Still could not get it to work. It lit up so it was getting power. I would not purchase this item.

It worked fine until something happened with an Apple update on our Macs and now it isn't found as a camera option. Nothing on their web site to help fix the problem.

quality is better than expected. machined well, very stable, solid joints. LED could be brighter (this feature is important because overhead lights cast a camera shadow) but it comes with a digital brightening button that compensates pretty well. i havent gotten the zooming in/out buttons to work yet so that might be a quality control issue but the video quality is very excelent so i am happy. so i guess maybe get a fancier one if you need a good zooming function but given the price i think they made a fantastic product in an efficient way. easy to use and fold flat to put away or travel.

Only works as a camera for virtual calls. Not for in person classes.

This unit is extremely versatile and packed with useful features. It's ability to handle both dynamic and locked focus is great. It's zoom and brightness controls as great. The mirror feature is also nice, although I wish it had a rotate button. With this unit, you place it to the left of your document.It has one drawback that I haven't quite wrapped my head around and that is with regards to the USB cables you can use with it. They don't all work. The USB-C side of the cable included fits into the middle of the unit, providing power. This enables two USB-A ports to be connected. So far so good. The other side is a USB-A plug and you're attempting to plug it into a USB-C device (such as a MacBook), it will work, but it is quite picky about the adaptor you are using. I have been unable to power this and use it with a simple USB-C/USB-C plug. Instead, I have to use the included USB-A to USB-C cable and add a USB-A to USB-C dongle onto it for it to work. And, not all cables work. This is not the case with other devices of this sort I have used and I can't help but to think a firmware update might be in order.Which brings me to support. There is none. The webpage provided has a document, but no technical support, no downloads area, nothing. You're on your own.So far, this is my favorite camera of this sort. The price is right and the quality is good enough. I just wish it had better connectivity and support.I'd contact the manufacturer... but there doesn't seem to be any way to do so!

First off, I already have an Ipevo VZ-R doc cam and I love it - this costs 3 times more. Was looking for a smaller, budget friendly, and a fully featured Doc Cam (to carry around to WeWork for running remote meetings). After looking at many models on Amazon, I decided to purchase this TreasLin USB Doc Cam. I was pleasantly surprised at all the camera features.PROs:-Very affordable price. The 10mp camera model is only $79. I got the 15mp model for $99.-Small footprint, light, and the camera controls are on the camera base and not on the overhead unit. Controls on an overhead camera will shake the video image when controls are pressed.-Have camera controls (Zoom, Rotate, Auto Focus) found on more expensive Document Cameras.-Works well with Zoom when sharing screen + selecting this camera as the Document Camera. Document Camera image is clear.-Works well with Zoom, as webcam since you can set the Treaslin camera angle to get your face in the right position in the video (otherwise, you have to tilt the laptop screen to adjust laptop webcam + then you can't see the content on your laptop screen).-Can use free Ipevo "Visualizer" software to enhance sharing document content from Treaslin camera on Zoom and MS-Teams.CONs:-Small footprint means smaller metal frame (when compared to Ipevo VR-Z) - so, some flex in the joints, but overall the weighted base makes for a stable camera setup for daily use.-Treaslin USB camera does not have built-in microphone, but you can use your laptop microphone or plug USB microphone into TreasLin camera.In summary, believe this Treaslin webcam / doc cam would be suitable for daily Zoom / MS-Teams meetings and for online classroom teaching sessions. This camera really helps to visualize and communicate your points to make more productive remote meetings. Great size and works well. Feels solid in a small package.
