As a security officer at a major hospital, these are very useful to have at times.

These are very sharp and tight fitting shears. They cut very well. The sheath/holster is pretty cheap feeling. It seems like a pointless addition since this is meant to be compact and has a pocket clip. It rides nice in a cargo pocket. The folding mechanism seems to be fairly solid, but definitely not as robust as the original version of the folding shears.

This trauma shear set offers a solid combination of versatility and portability, making it a useful tool for both professional and personal emergency situations. The 6-in-1 design provides multiple functions, including foldable trauma shears, a ring cutter, bandage cutter, ruler, carbide glass breaker, and an oxygen tank wrench, all in a compact build. The stainless steel construction feels durable and well-made, ensuring it holds up well over time. The included holster is a nice addition, allowing for secure and convenient carrying on a belt or in a bag. The folding mechanism works smoothly, and the size makes it easy to store while still being reliable for quick access when needed.Overall, it’s a practical multi-tool with a professional design, making it a great addition to a first aid kit, vehicle emergency pack, or outdoor gear collection.

These shears are absolutely top quality. They have the same feels, functions, size, and looks as the expensive ones. Super sharp blades, and they are cheap enough to fit any budget unlike the other brands.

This was the one thing missing from my EDC first aid kit that I keep in my car. I was a little hesitant knowing sometimes the cheaper versions don't hold up as well as the more costly versions, but after running a few tests, they are surprisingly high quality. I cut through 4 layers of denim easily. I don't know that I will need the oxygen wrench, or some of the other tools, but still nice to have on board. I haven't tested the seat belt ripper either, have to do that. The basic tool of the shear is what I was really after. They fold quite compact, and while the sheath is nice, I don't know that I will use it as it takes up quite a bit of space. The locks on the shears are easy to unlock, even with medium weight gloves on. They re fold smoothly. There is also a pocket clip on the shears themselves if you choose to carry that way.I don't know that these would hold up to heavy use, emergency responder say, but for people looking for more basic, lower cost tools for a comprehensive first aid kit, these shears would be a great addition for a vehicle, camping, or backpacking first aid kit.

My first impressions of these shears when I received them were the quality of the packaging and how surprisingly heavy they were. I don't know what I expected, but these shears have exceeded what I imagined when I ordered them. They are well made and sturdy. They are mechanically well put together and function effectively as shears. The ring cutter function is capable of cutting most jewelry materials, such as gold or silver. The carbide window breaking tip is sharp and should work as intended. The only function that could be improved is the seat belt cutter, which does not have any lock or detent in either the open or closed position. This is not an issue initially but could become a problem if the pivot gets loose over time. The screw for this pivot is a small Torx security screw, meaning a special tool would be needed to tighten it if this becomes an issue. The holster is made of injected molded plastic and is reasonably solid. The holster can hold the shears open or closed and does a good job of retaining the shears in either configuration. It can be converted for left or right hand use, and the angle can be adjusted in approximately 25 degree increments. To change for right or left hand use, the screw must be removed, and the screw with interior threads must be taken out and replaced on the other side of the holster. This was somewhat tricky but not difficult.Overall, I would recommend these shears, and both their packaging and overall quality may make them a good gift for a paramedic or EMS worker.

I could see the handles being a weak point after heavy usage but for it being half the price of even the cheapest similar products, I have no real complaints for this item. Very solid.

I’m really impressed with this pair of trauma scissors/multi-tool. It’s probably a great idea for most people to keep one in a household first aid kit and one in the car. It also has a very secure belt attachment if you’re hiking and want it on your person. I’m keeping this one in the car in my center console. Super handy if you need to cut a seat belt in a hurry, or break out a window to escape and there are two specific tools just for those jobs, as well as a place that will cut a ring, or thick wire and of course the scissors are fantastic. Super sharp and smooth to use. There’s a small metric (cm) ruler on one blade of the shears. There is also an oxygen tank wrench, but I’m not sure I’ll ever need that, but handy to have.I love that it has locking parts to close it back down, so it won’t accidentally close while in use. It folds down very compact and fits perfectly and easily in the holder. This would be a great, practical gift and I want to get one for my son and husband’s cars as well.
