Perfect for picking up the trash out of my yard… people ride by and toss out of the window and it lands in my yard so this is more convenient for me to pick up the trash without having to use my hands ( no contamination) safe way to keep my yard clean.

I have no trees in my yard, but my neighbors trees surround me. I can’t stand having leaves in my yard! With that said I was constantly walking through the front, side, and back yard bending over, stooping down picking up leaves by hand. Definitely got old after a few weeks. I had the genius idea to find a Trash Picker Upper on Amazon. I instantly came across the Frebuta Trash Pickup Tool, 51 inch Trash Picker Upper Grabber High-Duty Stainless Steels Tip Lightweight & Reinforcement Garbage Debris Nabber Litter Picker Grabber Durability Reacher Yard Sticker and LOVE it! The item is super durable and gets the job done. Assembly is very straightforward and easy. I will caution you on the tip, it is very sharp so be careful! As far as stabbing and picking up leaves it worked flawlessly! I was able to gather about 20+ leaves at one time. Will advise the bigger the leaf the easier it is to stab. However, if you miss the small ones it does a great job aerating your yard. I would definitely recommend this sturdy, stellar product!

These are so handy to have. I recently had an old house demoed and had bits of trash and rubbish everywhere. Searched for this and ordered. Got it, put it together (it has a nice feature of being 3 pieces so you can make it longer or shorter) and went to work. This saved me from days of back pain. Makes picking up trash a breeze. Well built, full metal tool. Spike is sharp and long. Handle feels great.

Well build tool. I live by a park in a small town that does not have the funds for clean up. I walk my dog daily and pick up trash as I do. I don't mind bending over but some trash is down a drainage ditch and some trash is disgusting. Things like paper napkins people wipe their mouths on, paper sneeze tissues, items with poop on it and condoms. My hands stay clean as I clean the park. I don't mind as long as I'm not touching disgusting things.

Fits my need well and is well made.+ I'm short, short config helps me bend alot..+ I walk a bunch and use it to pick up stray beer cans, water bottles & drop in trash w/o touching (immune issues)Only small negative , sometimes have to crush part of can w / shoe to make stay

I walk our dog around our neighborhood and noticed a lot of trash that people dump. I was just wearing gloves and bending down to pick up the trash but I’m over 60 and my back stopped me from doing it that way. I bought this one and was very impressed with the quality of it, the tip is long and pretty pointed. The weight of it feels good in my hands but not to heavy. I highly recommend this trash stick!

The trash picker upper works well if my trash bag is lying on the ground in one location. It's a little tougher to use walking distances while holding a trash bag to stuff random street trash due to the long overall length of the pole at 47 inches. I'm 5' 11" and it feels like the perfect hiking stick height. My arms are positioned at a 90-degree angle while holding the foam handle. If I'm holding a trash bag I have to raise my arm too high repeatedly to stuff the trash which kills my shoulder after an hour or two. In pieces, each tube is about 17" long and all three parts weigh about 429.5 grams. The tip is 6" long and pointy. The foam handle feels good while using the picker-upper, and once all the parts are tightened well by hand, it feels sturdy enough for trash duty. Overall, the trash picker-upper works well for me if I have my trash bag on the ground and as for longer distances I think I would prefer a trash stick that's shorter at around 36-40 inches to make it easier on my shoulder.
