Popped it in using a 10 Spline socket to remove (2) bolts and some Medium strength thread lock. Took my Sq5 for rip and that transmission slop is gone.

I was skeptical on this part for my b8 s4 which is why I paid 1/4 of the price of the name brand for this one. I’m shocked! It’s not going to change everything for you, but the shifts are much smoother with the transmission held more solidly. I always felt the shifts were harsher than necessary and this gives a noticeable improvement. For this cost everyone should do this, and it literally takes only minutes to install.

An incredible value for the b8 chassis. If you're on the fence do not hesitate. This will provide the support to that tired transmission mount, to provide crisper shifting and better overall shifter feel.

I had the "higher priced, name brand" of this same insert before when I had an Audi A5, I've since got an Audi S5 3.0T and was hesitant to buy again because of the price and the fact the difference wasn't that great. However, come to find out the DSG in the S5 benefits from this insert more so than the Tiptronic transmission in the A5, but still didn't want to pay the high price until I saw this one on Amazon. Gambled, purchased and installed which took literally 5 minutes...and yes, upshifts and downshifts are more responsive and quick, no more transmission slop. The true difference is either launching the S5, or hitting the throttle hard in Sport mode, the slop is literally gone. So yeah, definitely get the value for your money with this insert, save a few bucks, it does exactly the same thing!
