I purchased this two years ago resulting in a major vibration all through my TJ at idle. I read recent reviews of this mount from others stating the same issue. I purchased another brand this week and installed it. A night and day difference. It’s back to my sweet TJ. This mount is a stiff piece of crap.

Install is easy *assuming* your truck is not located in the rust-belt. Involves removing the skid plate to which this mount bolts up to. This is easy and straight-forward in theory but not so in practice if the truck is rusty. Be prepared to throw in new nutserts and hardware for the skid plate because rusty but trusty TJ was not in good shape beneath the skid plate. But I digress.This mount is fine. It tightened up the truck as the old mount was original for 200K miles and SHOT. but for the first hundred or so miles, the vibrations were relatively severe due to the stiff new rubber and being used to a shot mount that didn't dampen squat.Build quality seems ok which is why I'd suggest just grabbing an OEM Crown mount.

Received my mount very quickly and it installed very quickly all bolt holes perfect match. The mount is of great quality and it appears to be very rugged started my Jeep and all my vibration was eliminated with this rubber gem. I still cannot believe the deal I got. This is awesome thank you for making a great product for an affordable price.

For the price I shouldn’t complain, This mount was easy to install and lined up perfectly. It is way more stiff than oem. you know it’s not going to rip anytime soon and wouldn’t hesitate to use this on a rock crawling or trail only rig. Conversely, For an every day use vehicle, I would find something different.

Nice part. Easy install. Stick to rubber for this mount. Get this or similar OEM. DO NOT get a polyurethane mount (Energy Suspension, etc.) for your Jeep TJ. Though very high quality, they will vibrate the crap out of you and your Jeep at idle & highway speeds. This is much smoother.

Replaced the transmission mount on our 97 Wrangler that was shot with this part and the fit was perfect. We were getting a bad vibration at idle due to the mount essentially being in 2 pieces and only together by the metal bar in the middle. Needless to say the vibration is gone, no more clunking and smooth idle at a great price!
