Need to raise the carb for a Holley 4015 style to clear the back vac port. Plus wanted the PCV on the front and brake booster on back like an Edelbrock and this was perfect.

This phenolic one inch spacer is awesome, every carburetor should come from the manufacturer with this setup, for heat insulation and fuel atomization, starts quickly and drivability is much improved,Best 35 bucks I’ve ever spent !! Craig

Worked perfectly for my 1967 ford 289. I wanted to locate the PCV hose to the back of the carburetor like the stock orientation. I didn't like how the Holley avenger carbs run the PCV to the front.Spacer seemed nice and flat and I had zero issues with leaks. Carb seems to run much cooler with the spacer. My intake and valve covers will be so hot I can barely touch them for 1 second and now the carburetor is just warm to the touch.CONS:The universal type gasket had extra material and holes that I did not like the look of, scissors took care of that. Unfortunately the Studs that come in the kit are 3" studs. Seems over kill for a 1" spacer. The studs stood up at least an inch or more over the top of the spacer. I ran down to the local auto part store and bought 2.5" studs which seem to fit perfectly
