Assemble easily on my 1957 283 Block. I used red Loctite on the nipple for added security. No leaks. There are some great YouTube videos on install. Highly recommend.

I was a little leary when I first got the item because it just didn't look "substantial" enough. However it was easy to instal and it works great. A HUGE improvement over the leaky substandard MR Gasket adaptor I had previously which constantly leaked. Not a drop of leakage from this one.

I read some reviews about leaks that had me wondering if this was a good purchase, but I bought it anyway. Glad I did. Installed it accept the instructions and it works great . No leaks. Nice feature on the ‘56 Bel air with a 265 V8.

I switched to this filter adapter on my 65 Chevy II Nova with an original 327 engine. The engine uses a canister filter that is really messy to remove and replace. I had a different "Spin on" adapter from a company that makes Gaskets if you know what I mean. I always leaked oil on my garage floor and every where I parked for longer than 30 minutes. I was a little skeptical because it had less parts than the other one and didn't seem to go up into the space it was suppose to fit. Well, laa dee daa, to my sheer amazement my garage floor and bottom of my restored Chevy II Nova is now BONE DRY! Only draw back is I have to use a different spin on filter that has the bypass built into it. Small price to pay for no leaks. NAPA and Amazon carry the Wix filter it uses so it's readily available. I would have provided a picture of it installed, but did not think of it before I put the filter on. That sucker isn't coming off until it's oil change time.
