My 2 year old is obsessed with this train. It is the only trainset I could find that is easy enough for him to put on the tracks by himself and connect the cars. It's also so cute and doesn't come with a million pieces which is a plus. Only downside (for me) is that it is very loud but putting some tape over the speaker helps to dampen the sound a bit.

This is a great size track. A toddler can sit in the middle of it to play all around. The magnetic connectors work great. It's a lot of fun. The one thing that was not as great as it could be was the sound. When making a sound that is similar to a train, it's rather screechy, which might limit play time. Other than that, it's a nice toy.

This is a treasured toy for my 2 year old grandson. It only goes in a small oval, but it seems well made and easy to assemble. It is rather small, but bigger than a Brio train engine. For a first train set it’s really nice and I do recommend for tots.

My 2 1/2 year old great grandson is not easy to buy toys for that will sustain his interest over a period of time however this train made it happen. It is the perfect toy for a child to have independence because it can operate on the track, partially on the tack and even off the track. An adult does not need to be present ! He is so amused and goes back to it everyday. Kids love trains and strive for independence at this age. I highly recommend this toy as a way for playtime, learning, focus and fine motor development skills. The seller is very dedicated to the product and responded to some questions I had in a timely fashion. Between an excellent toy, an affordable price and a seller who stands behind their product you can’t go wrong with this purchase.

I'll chime in with other reviewers to say that this set has some issues, and might be a bit generously priced for what you get. I will also say I'm a bit puzzled by the choice of train car "theme" since (aside from the engine) the other three cars are all construction vehicles (dump truck, cement mixer, and crane). Strange choice. You also get a couple of little trees, and a station.I'm also confused by what age range this toy is targeting. The Product Title says 3+, the text on one of the photos says "Ages 1-2 Musical Toy". I'd say age 2 is about right.Pros:Easy assembly: The tracks snap together tightly. Maybe too tightly, since it's not easy to disassemble.Lights and music: It's battery operated and has lights and sound. But maybe too much sound -- I found it annoying after a while.Magnetic connections: Cars are connected via magnets. Not hard for a little kid to put them together. Straightforward.Watchouts:Limited track size: As I say above, it's a small oval track. A few more pieces would have been good, especially for this price. And you only have the one configuration option, really.Batteries are not included.

The train is a nice concept but it is cheaply made. A wheel broke off already and track connections show signs of stress already. If this is for kids it won’t last long.
