I purchased this train because of the materials used to create the train. I’m happy to say it’s the perfect size, looks amazing, the train is built with materials that will last longer than some of the cheaper materials on the market. I appreciated the links provided to keep the sturdy plastic tracks in place. The train moves along the track without tipping over. The sound and “steam” delighted the children as the train travelled around the Christmas tree. It comes with a charging cord which makes it function without batteries. I found this train to be a great value and the children found it to be great fun! Win - win!

We have had a few trains over the years and this one is by far the best! At night, the windows glow, giving a Polar Express vibe. The red highlight and steam features make it seem real. It’s a great “Santa” gift for the little ones. It’s sturdy and good quality, not like some of the other cheaply made ones we have had. Would definitely recommend

Perfect upgrade from a toddler "throw" train into a more classic and realistic train for a Christmas town model. Lots of fun if you use it along with some other models of a town or a forest.

Très beau produit. Donne un bel effet sous l'arbre de Noël autour du village. J'aime le fait que la locomotive de tête soit en métal et émette de la fumée. Le son est chouette bien que j'aurais aimé pouvoir l'éteindre même si le train est toujours en marche.

I can not get the train track pieces to snap together. idk if the sounds turns off, its pretty loud. I did not know the charger cable is so visible, showing in between the first and 2nd trains.idk if it stays on the tracks, I wasn't able to put it together.

So I had bought this train for my child for Christmas, it only worked 2 days and when I changed it and connected it all again it just did not work. I was very disappointed with the quality of work and connector is very poor quality and these days there are so many staring and stable options are available. I am surprised manufacturers did not see that how can a child connect it together.. they could do better thinking and innovation. So I started a return and sent it back . Very disappointed with this product miser of all my child was so upset. Now I have to look for something else to make up for disappointment.

Build quality is actually quite nice for the price. The locomotive is made of metal, and there's good (if odd) details to the whole thing. The locomotive has a front light that is red (for some reason) and the carriage cars light up inside, it's actually quite handsome overall. For the price, I was really just looking for something cute to put up under a small tree I set up for Xmas, but the quality is better than expected. My one complaint is that the train is very prone to derailing, the front bogey on the locomotive comes loose in the turns. If I set it up again, I'll probably try to add some weight to the front and see if that works.Also to note: When you turn the locomotive on, it makes a whistle sound and then the "chugga chugga" noises as it moves. It starts slow and gradually increases speed along with the sound effect. A nice touch. However, there is no way to disable it, so if you leave it running it's going to chugga chugga the whole time.The smoke effect, which I honestly did not expect to work, is very charming and only requires that you fill it with a bit of water (there is a little bottle included).

Saw the video, read through the description, and even the instructions. First off, no remote. Second, no smoke released from the wheel well area. Third, what train has a red headlight? Other than that, the train came with the rechargeable battery pack, easy to assemble, yes, the locomotive is the only one that has metal, but I got that feeling from the description, so no issue there. Overall, not a bad train set at all was able to make a rounded square to go around my tree. looks real nice.
