Be mindful it's for toddlers and not an HO Scale Train set for Hobby adults. All that matters is that My son loves it. He wakes up in the morning and the first thing he runs to is his train set.

Train tracks don’t stay together. Poorly made. Disappointed in this product. Don’t waste your money.

This is a great toy for my son. He loves cars and trains and car tracks to drive them on, and this one is very entertaining for him because the trains drive automatically and stay on the track. It’s very easy to put together, and he has fun rearranging the cars and seeing how many it can pull. We have a small house, so we have to take it apart when we’re done and put it away, but it makes my son more excited when we get it out. The pieces don’t fit together as tightly as I expected, but it doesn’t seem to affect the trains ability to drive on the track. Most of the pieces are wooden, but there are some plastic pieces as well. The plastic pieces have ridges on them which help the train drive up because the wheels also have ridges on them. I definitely recommend this train set, it’s been a lot of fun.

Only thing we didnt like were the plastic tracks, concerned they wont hold up well.We are pleased with the train tracks and set over all… it is easy to assemble and our grandkids love it!

Good:- The set is of excellent quality. The wooden parts are flawless, and the plastic details are well-constructed.- Motorized locomotives are FANTASTIC (there are two) - they kept my kid entertained for three straight days- The train cars are lightweight and made of plastic, allowing the locomotives to pull several cars in one train effortlesslyBad:- Despite being marketed as a "wooden" set, many components are actually plastic.- While the 80 pieces seem impressive, a majority are small items like road signs, vegetation, and figurines.- Consequently, there aren't enough railroad sections to allow for varied track layouts.- The crane design could be improved—it’s not particularly engaging for kids during extended play.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this set as it didn’t have reviews yet but overall it was great! Pieces felt really highly quality, trains ran well on the tracks. Love that the people can go into the trains and cars. Would definitely recommend!

It is well-made, and while the majority of the parts are plastic (I think the name of “Wooden Train Set” may confuse some buyers) , the plastics appear to be mid- to high-quality, and don’t feel cheap at all. You can see this from the detailed pictures I took. One thing that I really like is that this set includes a lot of characters, a few other vehicles, and some construction theme items, which I really like, and my son loves using them for pretend play with the different figures. To fully operate, it requires 2 AA batteries for the express train and 1 AAA battery for the locomotive. These batteries are not included.Currently, it is listed at $50, and I feel the price is a little high and believe it would be more attractive at around $35. However, it is a good set of toy. Based on the quality and value, I will give it 4.5 stars, rounds up to 5.
