Designed to support tongue weights from 250 to 500 pounds, the dolly excels in tight spaces like storage lots, driveways, and launch ramps. Whether maneuvering RVs, boat trailers, or cargo haulers, this compact mover offers powerful, user-friendly operation.
  • HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION – Built with a welded steel frame and finished in Trailer Valet’s signature wrinkle black powder coating for rust and corrosion resistance, the TV5XDA features never-flat solid rubber tires and a sealed gear system. Designed to withstand exposure to fresh or salt water environments, this dolly ensures long-term durability and consistent trailer handling in all conditions.
  • VERSATILE OPERATION – Use the detachable hand crank for controlled, manual adjustments, or power up with any 20 to 24 volt cordless drill and the included Trailer Valet Drill Adapter for faster movement. The built-in brake engages automatically when the handle is down for added control. With a 5% push-grade capability, it works best on paved or well-packed gravel surfaces.
  • COMPLETE PACKAGE – Includes the Trailer Valet 5X mover, integrated jack, 8 inch mounting bracket and hardware, TVDA drill adapter, and removable hand crank. The 2-in-1 design allows you to hitch, unhitch, and move your trailer without switching between jacks and movers, making it a must-have tool for trailer owners managing multiple trailer types.
  • EASY INSTALLATION – The 5XDA easily mounts to your trailer frame using the included bracket and hardware. Its rotating design lets you stow the unit upright when not in use and swing it down for operation. For best results, perform regular maintenance using the Trailer Valet Maintenance Kit (TV5XMK) and clean the system every 1 to 3 uses.

I just used this to push my 6000 lb trailer back on my RV pad, and it went so well I was compelled to write a review. I have a tight RV pad where I have to maneuver around the eave/rain gutter and two utility boxes all the while having my truck (that takes a country mile to turn) on an angle because I don't have a strait shot back from the road. I went from taking an hour going back and forth with the truck and driving on my lawn to about 20 minutes of pushing the trailer back right where I wanted it.Hooking up the valet was super easy. The valet still rocks a little even after using the spanner wrench to tighten down the ball to the hitch. But not enough to be overly concerned. I had three minor issues to mention. The first was that my Dewalt drill struggled at some points to move the trailer. It helped some to put it on speed 1, but not entirely. Not sure why because when I switched to the crank it moved with very little effort. I could switch back to the drill after moving the trailer past whatever was holding it up. One other issue was at some point the weight of the trailer shifted to the rear and the valet lost traction. But I was able to overcome that by lifting up on the handle. This seemed to put enough pressure on the wheals to get the trailer moving again. The third issue was that the handle kept getting stuck in the up position. Seemed that when there was a load on the valet the handle wouldn't go down even if I pushed on it. I would have to turn the crank in the opposite direction a little before it would release. This was my biggest issue, because I would feel safer if the handle would drop any time I let go of it. Dropping the handle is what sets the brake. Also "Trailer Valet" if you're reading this, it would be nice to have a small sleeve on the valet to put the wrench in when not in use. I just know I'm eventually gonna lose it.I do recommend this valet for maneuvering your trailer in tight spaces.

There is tons of material on the trailer valet website. Pay close attention on how to use this product and where use is not recommended. No assembly required but I did have to tighten the ball into the valet assembly, so be prepared to have a large wrench available for that purpose. The drill adapter was included as advertised.

Bought this to pull a 22" boat.boat and trailer under the recommended max weight. This device can damage your trailer hitch from the lateral force placed on your hitch. I can see it working for a lighter trailer.the ease of use is just ok.it takes some practice to operate the forward movement while trying to steer and keeping the break on the device from engaging. The handle has to be lifted past the 90⁰ angle quite a bit in order to disengage the break on the wheels.makes it ockward to use.

The Trailer Valet was very easy to install and use. Help me parked my 4,000 lbs trailer (a Little Guy Max), in a tight space. It was also very easy to attached the trailer to my SUV. I’m very pleased with my purchase and I will recommand this product. Take note that I use the Trailer Valet on a flat concrete slab.

WOW!! AMAZING! I purchased a Camping trailer that is a little over 21 feet. I made a cardboard model to prove to my husband that it could fit in the driveway. He would not believe it could be done unless I somehow lifted it with a crane. My driveway has a slight slope, 24-foot wide/19 feet deep. After watching many videos I decided to give the trailer valet a chance. It was really easy to mount the bracket and to attach the Trailer Valet I was able to do it on my own. I practiced moving and maneuvering the trailer with my daughter for about 15 minutes and then we felt we were ready! When my husband came home we had him back up the trailer as much as he could, not an easy task because our driveway is on a narrow street. We were able to pivot the trailer at an angle and back it up further into the driveway so it is almost parallel to the street. It fit! AMAZING! The cost was fully worth it and we were able to crank it up the slight slope without a problem. We moved along a couple of logs under the tires in case the trailer valet brake was not enough to stop the trailer in case it slid. We did not need them in the end but it was just a precaution.I had hesitated to get a camping trailer because I did not think I would be able to fit it in the driveway, and I did not want to pay for monthly storage. The Trailer Valet TV5X Lift Jack will pay for itself in a couple of months and it will definitely make it easier to move the trailer around at camping spots, I will also be able to line it up to the truck hitch in my won WOOT WOOT! Great product!

I was hoping this would help us more easily get our 23' wake boat into its storage area. We are able to get the boat perfectly lined up and partway in with the truck, before we run out of cranking room in the offset approach. All the Trailer Valet XL had to do was push the trailer straight back less than 10 feet on clean and flat pavement. It didn't work. The Trailer Valet XL had a hard time pushing or pulling the trailer on the flat pavement, and absolutely could not push the trailer wheels over a less than 1" ridge where the cement pad met the pavement. We tried everything - making sure the trailer brakes were locked out, purchasing a new corded high-torque drill, using the hand crank, etc. The tires would just slip on the pavement, the unit would bind up, etc. Even adding weight on the tongue didn't help. We ended up just pushing it by hand with a couple of people, no problem doing it by hand - I was just hoping the Trailer Valet would be a one person solution and remove the dependency on having people around. This brings us to the heart of the matter - the energy and time expended with the Trailer Valet XL is probably more than just doing it another way. If you can't do it by hand, it is unlikely that the Trailer Valet will be able to do it effectively either. The Trailer Valet XL might work on a small light trailer, but only on flat pavement, and nowhere near its rated capacity - it might hold something bigger, but it won't move it effectively based on my hours of trying to get it to work. Traction with the small rounded tires seems to be the biggest issue for heavier trailers, as well as some issues with ratcheting and binding every now and then inside the unit. It's a good thought, but like everything else that seems too good to be true, it fails in its implementation.

This thing is awesome! I have a large garage and this makes moving my trailers around inside so much easier than with my truck. No fumes, no noise, and you can move the trailer into very precise locations that would take forever using a truck. The only downsides are that the tires are made of a really hard rubber and sometimes when making sharp turns the wheels will spin on my concrete floor. I was originally looking into getting a electric dolly but this fits my needs for half the price, no maintenance, and I can put it back in the box on a shelf when I'm not using it. I have tried it on my loose gravel driveway. It works ok but does get stuck a lot. This unit works best on ashpalt or concrete.
