Got these to adjust for children's various heights. While pushing off from our dock, one broke - on first day. The aluminum isn't strong enough for anything but paddling water. Going back to wooden paddles.

I have a 17’ deck boat. Although paddles are not required in my state, some states they are. But it’s not about that, it’s about the safety “just in case.” LOVE the fact that these are retractable so it helps not take so much space up in my already-crammed ski locker. Very happy with these and they feel very sturdy! Paddle on!
