The grandkids opened these up for Christmas and oh my goodness they were so happy that they could build and make bridges and all kinds of things so it was awesome. Thank you.

The slightest tap and these tip right over. My toddler gets upset over and over all day. Super cheap plastic. I have to set them back up so many times every day. Don't waste your money!

I got some problems with my first track jacks, but the seller replaced them, and now I'm 100% happy. Great customer service, great product, I really reccoment the product (also, the seller).

These are okay for the price, like others have mentioned. My son loves them and wanted more, but I couldn’t stomach buying more at this price, so I just 3D print my own (I don’t sell, so don’t ask). I also made a significant upgrade, Lego Duplo brick compatibility! You can make some pretty awesome towers and supports with the thousands of legos already on hand. It was so close already, didn’t take much adjustment. Big oversight on manufacturer’s part.

This set of 16 works with Hot Wheels tracks. It works like it should. Easy to build and assemble. Customizable but pricey for just the brackets.

I acquired this TrackJack set through Vine. I was interested in the product because they are designed for Hot Wheels tracks (which we own) but can also be used for model train tracks like the Thomas & Friends sets we own. This is a box of 16 squares that connect to Hot Wheels tracks. They can be used in single stacks or in more stable L- T- or cube-like structures to suit your needs.

Take a look around YouTube and you'll see there's lots of people into Hot Wheels racing. While Mattel makes plenty of track sets, it doesn't offer anything like this meant to raise the track off the floor in order to make longer runs and elevated circuits. Aside from 3D printing your own, there's really nothing else like this readily available. After purchasing a set, here's the good and not so good.Pros:These are not thin, brittle plastic that will easily snap and break. These are injection molded in what could be described as rugged material that will likely stand up to years of use. Each piece is cleverly designed to work in multiple ways with multiple male/female connectors and track attachment points. Track can run on top of and even through the pieces allowing for multi-level track layouts.Track is easily connected and once connected the pieces tend to stay connected to the track.Cons:A minor quibble, but it would be nice to see a choice of colors beyond black. But if there has to be just one color, black is good. The pieces are a bit tough to attach to each other and get them level. This is likely better than being too loose fitting, however.Depending if you're using this on carpet or tile or hardwood floors, you might need to use several pieces to form a base to keep the structure upright. Unfortunately, this quickly eats up track pieces which leads to the major cons of this set.The sixteen pieces in one set are simply not enough for more than a small run of track. Be aware every photo on the box and in the advertising show layouts containing hundreds of pieces. If you put the sixteen pieces in the box together they form a single tower roughly 30 inches high. If you break that down to make a run, taking into account you'll be using some of the pieces to form bases, you won't get close to anything in the photos. If you want a long track run, or one with more than a single level, you're going to need multiple sets. Once you figure in sales tax you're paying about $1.60 per piece of plastic. That's not at all good value for money. If these were a dollar a piece and you got 25 in a box, it might be a little easier to justify the price. Even then, you'd still need to spend over $100 to create a layout anything like those pictured on the box. Conclusion:While the design is good and they seem sturdy and easy to attach to track pieces, the cost per piece is just too high. If it were possible to buy a box of 100 for $50, then this is easily a four or fiver star product. It's too bad Mattel doesn't take notice and offer a similar product at a more realistic price.
