I was tired of changing tpms on my Tahoe 2007. The originals lasted about 12 years. After that I had to buy them every 3 months. I tried these and they worked the first time. My recommendation is to completely remove the 4 old sensors so they don't interfere with the new ones. Tighten the anti-theft system. Using the programmer follow the sequence and enjoy your tpms. Remember to use a new battery with a full charge. As for durability, I say about 6 months.

Amazing product Idea. All tpms sensors should just be external. Was going to buy sensors and have them installed at a shop for 150 total. Found this and went for it instead. ITs a great solution to having a few sensors die when you have pretty new tires installed. Love this as a solution to hold me over until I get new tires and have the sensors replaced. I also love that these have replaceable batteries so it can be reused if ever needed. brilliant consumer-first product. The only downside is the anti-theft solution doesnt really work and it is more of a pain to fill tires when you have all that set up.

The only TPMS I'll ever buy again! Works perfect and 5 minutes to install and program on a Avalanche and a Equinox. Buy these, well worth it!

Couldn't be easier.....spent a whole day installing sensors in tires only to have them stop working after 20 minutes. These new ones simply screw on stem, go to learning mode on DIC and walk around to each tire with learning device.....all done. Locking nuts help to deter theft.

Love these, they're easy to sync to the system in the truck. Literally took about 5 minutes... only because I put them on the valve stem and then put more air in my tires then had to sync them again. But super easy and they actually work. Definitely worth the money.

I wasn't expecting much but I was pleased when this worked so well. I did not want to waste a day getting one of my tires removed to fix a bad sensor as I just got new tires. So easy to program I did it while waiting in a drive thru. We will see how long it lasts in a cold wet winter but thus far no complaints. Good thing to try if you don't have time to go to a shop or don't want to spend $200 to deal with those internal sensors. Cheap enough to give it a shot and it paid off

"Installation" was easy, if you can even call it that. It's a tire valve cap with a built-in sensor. The lock nut is optional, all it does is makes the sensor cap very tight so someone can't easily loosen it by hand to steal it.The packaging is such that the lid of the box touches the button on the relearn tool, meaning any weight on the box presses the button. So, the included 9V battery was DOA. Once I replaced that battery, everything worked as expected. The sensors appear to be accurate.Concerns:1) They could get stolen fairly easily.2) These could easily get lost/misplaced at the mechanic shop. So, I may remove them when bringing the car in for tire service.-These are natural potential consequences of this type of sensor, not much you can do about it, nor is it the fault of the product, but it's something to keep in mind. Ultimately, I went with them anyway because so many internal sensors have bad battery life reviews- even the more expensive ones- and the cost to pay someone to swap them is more than the item itself, which effectively makes them non-returnable. So, I wanted something I could easily do myself.
