I resisted getting an extender for a while because I had heard people talk about how they can be difficult to setup or don't add much range. A friend at work recommended the RE315 range extender so I gave it a try and I'm glad I did!Setup was super easy with the app. I was connected in no time and can finally get wifi everywhere in the house. There's no difference in speed when connecting to it or my primary router.The app has a lot of controls for status, security, speed and scheduling, and even turning the LED lights on the unit off if you don't want the glow from them. All of the settings are easy to access and understand.If I needed any additional coverage at home I would buy another one of these for sure!

Finally, a decent Repeater... Good range and fast signal speed. Transmits at the chosen 5G or 2.4G frequency without intermittently shifting to the slower band that was not chosen. Ethernet port is limited to 100mb/s but generally gives a stable output, both as an access point and as WiFi.Good quality product and easy setup.

I purchased the TP-Link RE315 range extender to boost the Wi-Fi signal in my home, and I couldnโt be happier with the results! Setup was incredibly easy using the TP-Link Tether app, and within minutes, I had a stronger and more reliable signal in areas that previously had weak or no coverage.The performance is impressiveโmy internet speed remains fast and stable, even when streaming videos or working from home. The dual-band connectivity ensures a smooth experience, and the Ethernet port is a great bonus for connecting wired devices.Overall, the RE315 is a fantastic, budget-friendly solution for improving Wi-Fi coverage. Highly recommend!

My router is on the main floor in the den at the far corner of the building. My bedroom is on the second floor behind walls in the opposite corner of the building. I tried an extender that was explicitly made for my network provider that would not stay on line and didn't make much of a difference in coverage. It was over $100.I researched on line and this device was one of the recommendations. I'm not a fan of T-P Link as I had a very bad experience with their customer support. I read some of the reviews, good and bad, but the price was too good to pass up even if just to experiment.The app I download was pretty straight forward but froze at one point so I had to start over. Once over that obstacle the device was recognized and working. The only small issue is that it creates another network on the system and names it _EXT. I have to redirect some devices to that network and change it on my phone when I'm in the bedroom. No biggie!Attached are photos of three speed tests. One in the same room as the router. One in the bedroom directly connected to the downstairs router and one when connected to the _EXT network. As you can see the device significantly boosts the signal almost by three times.For the money it was one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I have areas around my house and yard that have very slow WiFi due to the distance from my router. I also have several smart switches to control lights in front and back yards that are 50โ plus from the router and blocked by walls, and these occasionally/frequently loose signal.This device solves both problems for about $25! Iโm impressed by ease of setup (under 5 minutes) and most of all its effectiveness. Areas where I had WiFi crawling at unacceptable speeds are now easily 5 times faster, and my WiFi switches are staying reliably connected without any disruptions.Yes, it does create separate networks, but this is not an issue with switches, because you set them on the new network and never need to change anything in the future. As far as my iPad, it takes 5 seconds to switch networks when I move to a part of my property where signal is weak. No big deal to have a fast and reliable network anywhere on my property. Highly recommend!

After installing a brand new TP-Link AXE75 (AX5400) WiFi 6E wireless router, I will still getting weak spots in the some rooms. I was hoping this would fix the issues with my Linksys Atlas mesh wireless network, which had good range but devices kept binding to a weaker node and wasn't switching nodes seamlessly. After doing some research, I bought this TP-Link RE315 Range Extender because it could work with my router using TP-Link's OneMesh/EasyMesh system. I was a bit skeptical given my bad experience with the Linksys mesh system. Setup was incredibly simple, I plugged the RE315 into a power outlet that was more central in my home, on a different floor from router. Pressed the WPS buttons on both the router and range extender and after a couple of minutes, they paired and the RE315 extended my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Using my router's web interface, I could see the RE315 as a "Mesh device".To test, I used my Pixel 6 and the WiFi Analyzer app on 5GHz network. With this phone on my previous Linksys Atlas mesh, it would bind to a node but wouldn't switch to the stronger node, even if I was 1 ft away from it. I had to turn off WiFi and turn it back on before it bound to nearest node. With my TP-Link EasyMesh setup, I could see my Pixel 6 was connected to the AXE75 router. As a moved downstairs and was a few feet away from RE315, I saw the connection switch to the range extender. It was completely seamless and I didn't lose the WiFi network, it just switched. With WiFi Analyzer, I could tell which network device I was connected to based on Mac address and IP. Onto an Internet speed test. Connected upstairs to AXE75, I was getting 600 Mbps down, 300 Mbps up on and 1Gbps Internet. Connected to the RE315, I was only getting 90 Mbps down, 60 Mbps up, which seems slow but I was expecting that with range extender as half the bandwidth is connecting to the main router, while other half is for clients. This is also a WiFi 5 AC1200 ranger extender, compared to my WiFi 6E AX router. So I was pleased with this performance since the area I was getting the dead spots in, I was now seeing full strength with good speeds, which is much better than dropped connections I was getting not using the range extender, or with my previous Linksys Atlas mesh.

Me ha dejado impresionado este repetidor, normalmente uno no confรญa en la calidad o en el propio funcionamiento de estos aparatos pero, me he quedado sรบper feliz. El aparato es compacto, pero te ocupa todo un enchufe, asรญ que piensa en dรณnde lo vas a colocar. Sin embargo quitando su largo, el aparto lo puedes poner donde sea ya que es delgado y las antenas se pueden acomodar.Tenรญa problemas de conexiรณn en mi habitaciรณn por lo que la seรฑal llegaba a duras penas haciendo difรญcil el usar el mรณvil en la cama y ni quรฉ decir de una consola. Comprรฉ este repetidor con cierta duda, sinceramente no confiaba pero me fiรฉ de las reseรฑas y vaya que me equivoquรฉ. Este aparato es increรญblemente รบtil, sรบper facil de configurar, tanto es asรญ que sinceramente no se necesitan ni siquiera los instructivos, y sin embargo los incluye junto a un cรณdigo QR para bajar la App Tether la cual estรก completamente en espaรฑol y es sรบper amigable e intuitiva. No te tardas ni 10 minutos configurando el repetidor, una vez conectado y configurado, lo puedes mover a donde te dรฉ la gana. Mejorรณ de forma enorme la conexiรณn, tengo la seรฑal como si estuviera al lado del mรณdem e incluso tengo mi consola Xbox series S conectada y con una recepciรณn carente de cualquier tipo de lag, incluso hice descargas pesadas como por ejemplo Resident Evil 4 Remake y fue de maravilla. Inclusive me atreverรญa a decir que mรกs rรกpido de lo normal, pero esto no lo aseguro como una funciรณn del repetidor. En resumen, si estรกs dudoso, compralo, no te vas a arrepentir y suele estar en buena oferta, yo lo conseguรญ por un tercio de su precio. Por ahora en su primer dรญa de uso, estoy sรบper contento. ๐ฉท
