Don’t buy aftermarket valves. I went through two different pcv valves. Save yourself time and headache and buy Toyota OEM valve, and thank me later.

Have a 2006 Toyota Camry. Took me a few minutes to swap this part and everything seems to be working fine. Wasn't for any direct issue but it's cheap and easy so made sense.

Fit my 4-cylinder 2005 Toyota Camry and seems to work just fine. I'm skeptical that this is an OEM part, although it is marked with the correct part number (12204-28020). It says Toyota on the package, but the part is marked "Aman", which reeks of Chineseium. I installed it because it seems to work fine and there isn't much to a PCV valve, but if I had to do it over again I would probably buy from a local Toyota dealer. If this is what Toyota is telling dealers to use, then fine. I assumed that "Fred Haas Toyota World Parts" was a legitimate seller of Toyota parts, but I'm skeptical of what I received. The original part had the part number, but no brand mark. I'm also very skeptical of all the short 5-star reviews.

This is exact fit and quality as the original.I initially attempted to use a aftermarket part, but it emitted a rattling noise while operating car. This valve doesn't have that issue. If you shake it right out the package you will hear a rattle, but don't worry it won't do that installed in the car.

Inexpensive and very easy to install. You'll need a 10mm socket to take the beauty cover off, and a 22mm deep well socket for the PCV valve. It took me 5 minutes. Since installation, the car idles better and has a little more giddyup.

I've been chasing the cause for a PO420 code on my 2005 Camry as well. Hopefully from the other reviews here, this will solve the mystery. I replaced this PCV valve as well as the oem PCV hose that sells here on Amazon. Many forums mention that the code can come from a bad PCV valve and a hose that has small cracks in it that could cause a vacuum leak that will cause the computer to set a PO420 code. They all say replacing the Catalytic Converter should be the LAST resort. Try the cheap fixes first! I have replace MAF sensor, Air/Fuel ratio sensor, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, Gas cap and cleaned the throttle body with the light staying out for a while and then returning with the same PO420 code a few days later.. Again hopefully this is the final fix!!
