Got it, but ended up getting a new valve cover so ended up not needing it. Also if you have this type of truck you may want to invest in an oil pick up canister so that oil doesn't go into your intake manifold.

As stated in another review, this is not a "valve", but instead a fixed orifice fitting used to replace a known issue with valve style PCV valves and oil consumption on early GM LS engine with early style valve covers. It is intended to be hollow. This part is considered an upgrade.

This is a fixed orifice style pcv valve , so it's made correctly and there is no moving internal parts or springs because it's designed not too. I'm using it in a large cam street car and it's exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for something with the traditional vacuum activated check ball this is not for you.

Perfect fit for my 2003 Chevy Tahoe 5.3The one i removed was the factory original and it was crusty.. This new one was a genuine AC DELCO part and takes all of 20 seconds to install!
