MAIN FEATURES:
1). Extra long 5/8" hitch locking pin with 3-1/4" spans, fits Class III/IV hitches with 2" x 2" and 2.5" x 2.5" receivers;
* This lock DOES NOT fit CURT channel style adjustable ball mounts 45900, 45901 and 45902; DOES NOT fit CURT channel style adjustable pintle hooks 45907 and 45908.
* This lock DOES NOT fit Andersen Rapid Hitch adjustable ball mounts.
* This lock DOES NOT fit FASTWAY adjustable ball mounts.
2). Separate spring clip provides additional convenience and safety, in case to make a quick change of hitches by this clip without having to use the lock, or even the lock fails;
* Caution: R spring clip MUST be inserted into pin hole when use this lock.
3). Rubber O rings can keep away the pin rattles;
4). 1/4 turn lock and push lock design makes it easier to lock and unlock;
5). Rubber cap provides additional protection to locking mechanism from moisture and dirt;
6). This product does not fit the bike racks with threaded connection;

After a friend had his receiver lock fail which resulted in significant damage to his RV and toad, I decided to make a routine to switch out my locks each year at the start of the RV season. The locks are well made and convenient to have the same key for all 3. I used to have 2 different keys and that was a hassle to keep track of and deal with. Kind Regards.

I really like these locking hitch pin sets. They seem well made and the safety clevis pin and o-rings allow customizing the length of the hitch pin to the specific hitch you're using so that the pin can be installed snugly. The clevis pin provides a safety in case the locking end cap did not fully engage (I've had that happen on another type of locking hitch pin, fortunately the pin did not fall out!) Anyway, I like having that clevis pin to ensure the pin stays in my receiver. Having three keyed-alike hitch pins is also really convenient, especially with several different towing setups that I use. I can just leave a pin with the different stingers and the same key works on all three. I have not used these in wet weather so I don't know if they resist corrosion but everything else I really like.

Before purchasing these you should measure your equipment. They didn't fit my Gen-Y adjustable ball mount hitch. The hitch is made with thicker walled steel. They did fit the stock 2021 GM 2.5 inch receiver. But I needed to secure the the ball and pintle cover too. I've since purchased the correct larger size. Otherwise these seem to be a really nice, robust, product. I especially appreciate having the pin back-up the lock in case the lock fails or falls off due to operator error. The O-rings are a bonus to reduce the rattle. The are neatly packaged and organized. They should last a long time. Especially since I secure them in a box when not in use and plan to keep them clean.

I have several vehicles that are we use with hitches. It is great to have them all have the same key. They are very secure. I am not sure I like having to put the pin in as well, but I am sure it makes them more secure. It is not hard to put the pin in.

I got these for three of our cars so I can use one key for the three. One hitch is a Toyota OEM; the other two are Curt aftermarket hitches. All are two-inch receivers. The hitch locks fit all three. There are about an inch extra wide on the Curts and the included o-rings can be used to keep them from clanking.
