TotalBoat White Knight Fiberglass Stain Remover is a gel cleaner that removes dirt, exhaust, oil, rust, scum, waterline and other tough stains from fiberglass gelcoat surfaces. Its powerful, but non-abrasive formula cleans deeply without scratching, drying out, or otherwise damaging surfaces.

Get rid of unsightly yellow and brown stains on your boat's hull and transom without hard rubbing, scrubbing, sanding, or compounding. It works wonders on both powerboats and sailboats. Simply apply a thin layer of TotalBoat Fiberglass Stain Remover and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Scrub with a soft brush or sponge, then rinse thoroughly with water. Still not clean? A second application will take care of the deepest, most stubborn stains.

Because it's non abrasive, you can safely use it on fiberglass shower stalls, fiberglass furniture, white painted surfaces, stainless steel, and gel coat. Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Use it to remove dirt from RVs and trailered boats, or to remove rust from stainless steel railings and stanchions. I had “tea staining” on my painted aluminum fishing boat. This stuff worked wonderfully! I am so happy with the results. It went quick and easy/I rinsed it off really well and waxed it with carnauba wax. Hopefully it stays looking like new for a long time!

I have some stains in my gelcoat probably from the boat being under or near some trees and this did not do anything to remove or lightening the stains despite using it three times and letting it sit and then even scrubbing it into the surface. Softscrub worked better but I really did not want to use anything even mildly abrasive, even like Barkeepers Friend. I have to find something else to remove these stains but I was disappointed with this.

Yellow stains appeared on the interior of my gelcoat after inside storage. It was not rust and I am not sure what exactly it was. The product did a wonderful job removing the all the stains. A second application was required in a few spots but a majority of the stains came out in one application.

My boat was neglected for 9 years. I had stains in the gel coat from lichen and moss growing on it whilst sitting in the yard. I tried everything I could to remove the stains. I used toilet bowl cleaner, high end boat cleaner, purple power cleaner, and a lot of elbow grease, but could not get the stains out. Another person suggested wet sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper. I have no idea how to wet sand. So, I was reading a thread about a forum. I started researching the stain removal product that was suggested and I stumbled upon White Knight. Holy Moly, am I glad that I did!!! It is literally as easy as it says it is. Apply and wait 15 minutes, then spray off. You can watch the stains disappear before your eyes. Follow the directions to a T and you will be amazed. I will still have to hit it with a gel coat cleaner then wax, but now the stains are gone it will make it look like new. Here are some before and after pics for comparison.

I was pleased with the results even though I will still have to polish the boat, I didn't expect it to do so well. The picture with all the grime is from a removed sticker, so that is not the work of white knight. You can still see the different between under the sticker and the cleaned area in the close up, but it really did a great job.
