An amazing Toshiba product!! This unit replaces a regular microwave, in the same size & does so much more!!! This was a Christmas gift that was chosen by the recipients after much searching & comparing. They absolutely Love this combo microwave, convection & air fryer unit.

I really love this microwave. First it has the toots and whistles in one compact unit. It is so quiet! I’ve used the air fryer and convection. Items came out cooked and juicy. Microwave is efficient. So quick, I wonder if the other one, an LG, that died short of two years, ever worked correctly. It has thorough instructions, and pretty easy to figure out. Good purchase.

Quick review: poor lifespan and dury. Stopped working a little over a year.We bought this microwave back in November 2024 because we liked the different functions it had including the convection oven, air fryer, and microwave. It worked fine for most of the year, but there was a little issue with setting cooking times. There is no key pad to enter a number, so you set the time by turning the dial, which would frequently reset and we would have to set the time all over again.Around January 2025, just a couple months over the 1 year warranty, the convection oven stopped working. The convection oven would run, but the temperature would not exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The microwave still works fine. We never use the air fryer or combi function. We also maintain the microwave and keep it clean. We only really use the convection oven to toast bread. We reached out to Toshiba customer support to see what they could do or if they could send a replacement considering not that much time has lapsed from the 1 year expiration. They responded with some troubleshooting exercises, which we did with no success and we notified them so. Their response was they would have to send a technician to fix and it would be at our expense since it's past the warranty period.Upon going back to the reviews for this microwave, I see there are other people that experienced the same issue. Therefore, I would not recommend this microwave due to its poor lifespan and durability.

This item is hard to use, doesn't allow you to program heat for any of the function. I tried to cook fresh veggies and after one and a half hrs, using convection they were still hard and cold. The only function that does work is the microwave, Warranty isn't available to me and I missed the return window as I bought it for my trailer and it doesn't get used muchDON;T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

I bought this item to save some counter space as it was advertised it can do so many things.First the microwave seems underpowered and is quite small, but the unit is very deep. The air fryer and or broil took forever to heat up, and nothing was really crispy. There is also a powerful fan so your kitchen will definitely smell of your cooking, so locate it close to your stove hood fan. I have the convection and combi features left to try. Also it is very confusing to use. What used to be turn a dial for time and press start on my previous microwave now takes several more steps before I can press start.I tried the combi…it works better than the microwave and air fryer and broil features, but not a lot better. Convection oven, come on, a fan and a good toaster would do a better job than most of the features on this unit.10 to 12 minutes to cook 3 slices of bacon, 3 to 4 minutes to cook a single smokie.Do not buy this. Specs are misleading.

I’ve figured it out by trial and error but it does not come with instructions and nothing helpful on line. Priced too high. The microwave starts burning on the right side. Actually flashes and burns. Will try and send back. Was in touch with Toshiba and was told they would send a new oven. Six weeks later nothing. Then was told I would get a refund only, but would take another 4-6 weeks. I’m not impressed with the way Toshiba has handled this dangerous product.

We have had this microwave about 2 months now, after my not-even-a-year-old GE crashed and died, and they wouldn't warranty it. I like this one (it was recommended on CNET, which is how I found it). It's a little more complicated, yes, but it doesn't take long to figure out the basics. I saw someone review it and start by saying something like "I haven't read the manual and I don't intend to." I don't recommend that approach. You should read the manual where the settings are discussed (or at least the quick reference guide). It isn't intuitive, but in exchange you get a fairly clean interface and a compact unit that doesn't swallow the whole countertop. I love, love the defrost function-- it's hands-down the best I've seen in a microwave. The rest are ok. I can do chicken wings on convection, bread on broil, and reheat all sorts of things. I think some of the settings are not necessary, so I just keep the quick guide nearby and use it as a guide (ie I don't notice any difference when I airfry chicken nuggets or french fries on the same setting, except for time, and I check that anyway, so I just pop it on the first one I come to). I love the convect and airfry/micro combinations. They give me crisp food that is also cooked inside. I will use this pretty much exclusively in the summer because I hate firing up my oven when it's hot. A couple of notes:--the unit is not as strong a micro as package times indicate, so you may need to go longer than the cook times on items like frozen veggies. It's nbd (maybe +1 minute), but something to keep in mind.--it doesn't have a sensor (I missed that when I ordered it), so "reheat" is just time-based (you need to check the food).--it doesn't get super hot like my old one did around it. That said, I keep it on a heat-proof mat to protect my countertops.--the top heating element is in the back, so food in the middle of the plate (rather than the sides) doesn't get as brown in the oven/broil/airfryer. It must be moved around a bit.If you want something you can just fire up and not think about, I would get a different model (just not the GE, because I'm not the only person that sucker died on for over $400😡). However, I like how small this is, how nice it looks, and it does a great job for like 95% of what I need. It's also a lot less expensive and, supposedly, will last longer (I'll definitely update if it doesn't). I'm happy with it so far.
