This tool works perfect for removing torsion bar keys. Specifically, I used this while working on my 1989 Chevy K1500 and I have no complaints. This tool is much nicer to use than trying to make a c clamp work. The tool is also heavy duty enough to not flex or bend while removing or installing the bars. Should last quite a while.

I used this tool to press down the clamp when replacing the brake pads on my Toyota Camry, and it performed perfectly. The C-frame is heavy-duty and made of firm steel, so I never worried about stability during use. The adaptor edge is quite sharp, so wearing a good pair of work gloves is highly recommended. Overall, a sturdy and reliable tool for any DIY car maintenance!
