I unfortunately have been hospitalised several time over the last 12 months.I observe that the toilet rolls in the hospitals indicate that they are mostly 500 sheets. To accommodate this bulk the core is Significantly smaller th a the standard co r e but not on the rolls I just received from Tork.This creates a question in my mind. Are there in fact 500 sheets in these rolls th at. Appear no larger than say a 290 sheet roll.WHY. Do I need to count the # of sheets?

THERE IS A QUICK AND EASY TRICK TO FIGURE OUT IF YOUR FAVORITE BRAND OF TOILET PAPER IS THE BEST TOILET PAPER FOR YOUR BOAT:Take an empty glass jarFill at least three-quarters full with waterPut in two sheets of toilet paperShake vigorously for 30 secondsIf it is shredded or beginning to dissolve, you know it is safe for your marine system. You can also leave the TP in the jar overnight and see if it has dissolved. For an example of non-marine friendly paper, try this same test with a Kleenex. It remains intact and looks like one mushy glob just waiting to clog your marine head!
