I used to use other brands, too. Then, a friend told me that she had a major blockage and had to have Roto Rooter in to clear her plumbing lines. The guy who did it asked her if she used Brands X & X toilet paper products. She said yes and he told her that the majority of his calls are from people who also used those brands. He said those don't break down as well and, although they may state that they're septic safe, etc., he can only speak from his experience. Coincidentally, I used those other toilet paper brands, too. I stopped using them. This man had nothing to gain by telling my friend what he did. He did actually say, when she mentioned this brand, that this one seems to not cause problems.I used to buy this in the Supreme rolls but now I've changed my mind and really don't want any that are thicker than the Mega rolls. The ordinary rolls seem to run out 1-2-3 so, I don't buy them. The Mega rolls have just enough thickness when folded for your basic toilet needs. The Supreme rolls, I worry about when I have company or overnight guests. I feel that people are used to pulling a certain amount of paper off the roll for their use when cleaning up after doing their thing. If the paper is too thick, like MAYBE the 3 ply is, that adds a 1/3 more paper to each strip pulled from the roll and makes it that much more that has to be flushed and pass through the plumbing pipes. I don't know -- I just feel it's maybe easier to clog the toilet that way. Just my opinion. For that reason, I prefer the Mega rolls, which is what I buy all the time now. I still think it's better than other brands. If I didn't think that, I'd try all others. I recently did buy a brand I used in the past when it was on sale, but found that I'll never buy it again because, although 2 ply, it felt like thin tissue paper compared to Quilted Northern Mega Rolls.

not what I expected. I've been buying this from exact labeled product from Costco and the rolls were almost twice as large in diameter and 1/2 inch taller. The product is really nice and soft and doesn't plug toilet like Charmin did when we used to use it. It is more likely smaller in diameter due to Costco's being special sized just for Costco sales. It's still a good product and a fair price. I would recommend it.

I researched the web for a product that I have used for years. I called the Northern company and went over the varieties of their great toilet paper to see which product would give me the best price. There many fine products on the market, and when I set up with Amazon Prime for a routine shipment, I just go on line and tell them what I need. They deliver within several days. I do not like to go to a retail store to purchase this item when a click of the mouse will give me what I need.I keep track of the usage of this product to determine how often I need a replacement shipment. The rolls are small, and the product is soft and comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great buy. For 48 rolls, I paid $27, that's $0.56 per roll. Each roll has 165 sheets (which are 3-ply). Each dump needs only about 3 (max 4) sheets per wipe (because a 3-ply sheet is pretty thick), that means for 1 roll I can wipe between 41-55 times (165 / 3 or 4). Depending on how many wipes I need per dump (average 3) that's 13-18 dumps per roll (41 to 55 / 3). OR, since I pay $0.56 per roll, that's about 3-4 cents per dump ($0.56 / 13 to 18).

Let’s just say I had taken my sleeping medication (insomnia) and the next day i got an email saying my package from amazon had shipped.. I laughed way too hard for a minute and my entire family laughed at me for much longer.. I will never live it down. But overall, this was a great purchase and I have no regrets! Great deal and it’s been lasting a long time for my 3 person household.

My household has been using Quilted Northern TP for years and we regularly receive a shipment through our Subscribe and Save subscription. Our standard order for Quilted Northern TP is usually the "Double Rolls" size so I was curious how the "Supreme Rolls" would measure up.Well, with paper products companies running out of adjectives to describe how large the rolls of their products are (seriously - Huge, Mega, Gigantic, Double, etc., etc.,) it was only a matter of time before one company settled on "Supreme". These Quilted Northern rolls are quite a bit bigger than their puny Double Roll counterparts. The important things, however, remain intact. This is still the same pillowy soft Quilted Northern TP my wife demands. The rolls, as Supreme as they are, fit in the TP dispensers in my bathrooms without issue.Just be aware that these rolls are pretty big and they might not fit all dispensers, particularly older dispensers before the move to giant rolls of TP. Otherwise, order away! Recommended!

I don't know about you, but every now and again I feel the urge to answer natures call only to find someone has taken all the soft absorbent tissue from the reading room. This may be a personal thing but after a good read or session of candy crush I find it necessary to thoroughly cleanse myself or suffer much bodily discomfort and social shunning as a result, without the necessary soft absorbent tissue one goes through far too many socks, at least for my budget. This is where Quilted Northern Plush Double Rolls come in. They not only fill all the requirements of the soft absorbent tissue we have come to expect, it also comes shipped in mass quantity so there is always another roll waiting in reserve. I highly recommend this product for anyone with a bottom.
