I have a small landscape trailer and I was tired of picking up the tongue off the ground this has been great on it, keeps the ball hitch out of the dirt, and I can raise and lower as I need it depending on if I want to hook it to my trailer. Sturdy and while the folding mechanism is stiff it's pretty easy to use.

This Jack has worked well for me thus far. But I recommend you double check everything before install. When I was inspecting it prior to install, I realized the snap ring was not in place. This is what secures the jack in place on the pivot point, as you rotate it upright or fold it away.This could have potentially come detached while the jack was extended and caused a trailer to collapse. So definitely something to be mindful of. I used my snap ring pliers to pop it back into place.Aside from that, install was simple and the jack works well.

Replaced it with my old stand. Works great, and it was an easy setup. Pretty sturdy.

The gear mechanism,swivel and pin have no grease on them so do not work well. A little sticky grease on the swivel and pin fixes it. To grease the angle drive gears ,remove the rubber plug on top of the jack and force sticky grease down the tube so that it submerges the teeth completely. Works great. If you don't use sticky grease(available from Amazon) it will leak down the tube a create an awful mess !

It wasn't too difficult to install, apparently it's overkill for my small trailer so I had to use a 2x4 for a spacer since the bolts were kinda long. Could use shorter bolts too, but the piece of 2x4 was handy... Anyways, it cranks very easily and appears to be well made.

installed on a utility trailer which has slightly different mounting size so I had to open up some of the holes, but once installed it's great.i would like to have a way to keep the handle from drooping down when the jack is swiveled up. But that's the same issue with pretty much all of these types of jacks.

Not bad to install. Definitely holds on solidly. And holds the boat up well. Would recommend if you need something like this for a lighter boat.
